That rifle is beautiful!
Great Product from Vortex….. But PLEASE let me know the specs on that rifle? I have never head a big bore rifle that quite EVER!! Please let me know what CAN you are using and the caliber of that beauty. WELL DONE! Please let me know? Thank You very much.
Very cool! Been a while now. Any longer term opinions? What does it take to mount onto your scope? Is that a krg with a folder? If so what’s your opinion on the folding mech? Hold up with time? Any wobble? Thanks
What silencer do you have on your rifle ?
Perfect -- like my Rhodesian leather sling, but with the QD mounts. Underrated equipment.
Good demo maker
How about a breakdown of that rifle!
While this is a cool piece of tech for $3k you’re better off just learning your DOPE
yeah what round were you shooting at 675 yards being that quiet?
You just earned another subscriber! Thank you for demonstrating the product on a rifle being fired versus simply unboxing!
Awesome !!! Where did you get that kestrel holder ?????
We have them on our website. It's called the KBS short for Kestrel Base Station. Thanks for watching.
Can you use it as a LRF to send range data to your kestrel? That way I can use the Kestrels AB as the ballistic solver and get my data in my kestrel HUB?
No, you can pull environmentals off your Kestrel but it uses geoballistics solver. You really only need wind from the Kestrel or weather flow as this does everything else you need.
Looks pretty clunky.
Compre uma Burris Eliminator e tenha isso em um equipamento só.
Cool. Thanks.
Only one channel I saw has mentioned that you have to zero your scope's the elevation knob every time.
Nice. 1/5 the price of a Wilcox RAPTAR-S 😮
Slick rifle! What caliber? Thanks for sharing this product. I didn’t know it existed.
16" fast twist 308 for shooting subs or supers.
@@Dirt151Racer oOo that’s super cool 👍 what’s the twist rate?
@@sigscout22lr 1 in 8
What rail did you use with the sphur mount?
SPUHR Raptar Mount. We have them on our site.
What height?
Awesome.
Neat! I don't need one, but I'm happy that it exists.
Thanks for showing the zero laser. That was my first question. Did you set it parallel to your reticle?
Yes, you parallel it to your rifle scope
This product is one EVERY shooting channel today but you are the only one I have seen actually use the product. Thank you for that. Unboxing videos are the biggest waste of time
Watch Impactshooting, Piet down in South Africa used it on a hunt. czcams.com/video/ljduCTKovo0/video.htmlsi=bcbBLONLB2VYPuBu
Probably won't be surprised by the price.
$2k I’m honestly surprised it’s not higher
Is it better then swarovski ds? Or just smart, that you can use all optik with it?
Damn I was considering getting the grbd pod for just this reason Y’all might’ve just changed my mind
Will this take a 30rd 556 PMAG?
Unfortunately it will not. The mag is smaller and it is also curved.
Just curious why none of the instructional videos on CZcams show the instructor in a long sleeve shirt or jacket when trying to use this sling. I’ve had mine for years and the pocket want stay in position when wearing anything but short sleeve. The sling will not hold tight when placed over clothing. It will slide all the way down to your elbow and not hold on your the upper part of the arm. Also noticed that trying to adjust the tightness of the strap to the forearm of the gun is very difficult with your off hand while your in position, it binds in the adjustment bracket if the not pulled squarely backwards.
I have been shooting this "cuffed" methods with old school USGI slings for ages. I just got this sling in the mail today. I was looking for something more comfortable and easier to use (im getting old and lazy). I was super excited until I saw your comment! I religiously shoot in my old ACU tops and if this slings slips like you are indicating I will be far beyond disappointed, especially for the price difference. So far it feels great, looks amazing, and the construction/parts are simply excellent. I will update this with my range results ASAP but I will note this material seems really slippery.
I don’t see any way to post reviews on the SAP site, so I’ll comment here. I was familiar with a similar lever for another type of bipod, and this immediately attracted my attention. By coincidence I was at the range today with my Ckye-Pod and had my rifle fall over because I had loosened the tension and not tightened it up enough. The adjustment knob was still so tight, though, that I couldn’t turn it by hand without finding a stick to help. The lever arrived today and it was immediately apparent that it would be a real improvement over the factory knob. The quality of the lever couldn’t be higher, and as a bonus it’s a steal at today’s usual prices for accessories like this.
Would love to see either of these made for AXMC mags…please 😁
I hear you. We have our AMC which works with AX mags, but since we are based in Short Action competition, we don't have a lot of call for long action gear like the AXMC is.
Just as easy to buy a pic style bipod.
True, but if you want a Harris bipod with an ADM quick release Picatinny clamp (the industry standard Pic clamp), this is still the easiest way to go about it. Other Pic clamps are not in the same class at all.
can I get one to test? ;)
Nice !
Great product
Question…. Correct install, Is the logo side of the adapter toward the receiver as shown in your video? Or is it toward the front facing toward muzzle? The reason I’m asking is there are other videos and a tech at ADM that informed me it was installed toward the front ie muzzle end. Which makes sense from a company logo point of view. This is important because it will only install one way without slight modification done to the bipod back support plate.
Just got mine today and it installed just like the video shows, except that the two supplied bushings did not fit into the quick release like shown in the video. I had to use a mallet to pound the correct bushing into the quick release and then slide it onto the bipod. Not a major issue as everything works fine, but ADM needs to look at the fit of these bushings, as mine were obviously out of spec.
I was so if happy to see you had already fixed the one thing I really disliked about the Ckye Pod 2. Not to mention you had the Ckye Pod 2 ready to ship before MDT! I'm singing praises to all my shooting buddies about your site! Glad I found you.
Thanks Stephen! That is awesome!
Installed this product today. Very happy with it. The plastic sleeve going into the ADM adapter was a little tight but a rubber mallet did the trick and snug is a good thing. Perfect for those who don't always want to run a bipod but want a faster way of installing one on the fly.
Will that work on a Blackhawk "Harris" style bipod?
Not likely. It is specifically made for the Harris brand of swivel bipods.
@@shortactionprecision5262 I see they have two different sleeves and thought they would fit....

Nice looking rifle. What rifle is it?
It is a custom built Remington 700 clone built by Short Action Customs. Defiance action, Hawk Hill barrel, Vortex Razor Gen II scope and a Rock Solid chassis.
Awesome.
Awesome. Agree that is the only downside to the Ckye-Pod
Great part..www.americandefensemanufacturing.com/view/product/1289/
theviron6 I had the same issue. Just purchased one last week direct from ADM and the 2 adapters that were sent, one was too large (which is normal I hear) and the other only fit about 1/4 of the way on the harris bipod and took a small block of wood and a hammer to get it all the way flush. This is not an uncommon occurrence as I can attest to!
Great video. Thanks for posting.
Too bad it doesn't work quit like that! The proper insert does not fit into the the ADM adapter. It went in about a 1/16 th of an inch. It will not just slide on. Wish i had bought the Badger instead.
Not quite sure why you had a problem with the installation. We have sold 100’s of these with great success. I have this part on 3 of my personal Harris Bipods as well. You can feel free to email us at info@shortactionprecision.com and we should be able to help further with this or any part that was purchased from us.
Well the plastic insert that fits properly on the bi-pod is to large for your mount to slid over like you demonstrate in the video.
theviron6 very strange. ADM supplies the plastic inserts in the kit that are required. If you email us we can look up your info and get this solved for you.

Well, that's the last time I let you borrow my Accord for a few days 😒
Design suggestion: add a zipper to enable changing or modifying amount/type of fill. I understand cost may go up a couple of dollars but it extends the useful life of the product, and adds a great level of customization.
