I'm curious why you talk about the sound coming from the throat as opposed to the back of the mouth. Is there a reason that makes it easier to learn?
I had spech therapy and i dont remember most of it 😅and i still struggle a lot
The /k/ phoneme is not pharyngeal. It is velar, meaning it is pronounced with the back part of the tongue against the soft palate
You’re amazing
As a preschool teacher, thank you for this!
Add a consonant sound... Like ”a” or "oo”
Those are vowel sounds.
Former ESL teacher here who spent most of her undergrad studying music(vocal) education. 🫡 What she is doing is already more effective at encouraging the student to focus on the consonant sound itself. Too frequently, learners will focus on the whats coming after the target sound and thus aren't gaining awareness on how the core of it is supposed to feel in their bodies. Speed and linking it to other sounds will come later.
Human error, she meant to write “vowel” for this demonstration, but you can also replace the vowel practice with consonant practice: s-k (skate) r-k (park)
@@AmbiixROX oh my goodness! Yes! Meant to write vowel 😂
Hi do you have more videos on articulation issue. Like this video but all the letters.
Sad 25 likes 😢
Where did you get that activity from I want to order for my boys ?
Where did you get this from
What a great way to get engagement.
My grandson, 18 months enjoys, watching a speech therapist on CZcams, it may be you. I’m sometimes confused as the sounds they use are different than what I am familiar with. Someone recently mentioned that the way we’re currently teaching some sounds has changed. Letters seem clipped (bu-en rather than button) and I seem to remember something like a goat goes maaa (not baa), or something similarly odd to me. Can you provide me with any direction to learn more about what’s going on or where to go to learn more. He has no issues that we know of; but, we want to help & encourage him to speak well as best as we can. Watching his speech develop is so much fun.
❤😊
See, I appreciate this, and kudos to you for saying it with so many people talking bollocks about autism cures... but I came here to be mad at people who think they know more about the condition than people with it and the professionals that study it... but thank you I guess [kicks dirt]
Where did you buy that ?, 😂
You can’t have a speech delay without having Austism? That’s not true your putting out misinformations my son has a speech delay and is not autistic.
What does “Do not withhold objects” means?? Does anyone knows?
You need to be pregnant
Momok

What’s the book called ❤
As an ECE . . . I can relate.
Oh that kid cough is like nails on a chalkboard to me. A lot of the kid I've worked with I can just go "Arm!" and they do it 🤣
Great idea!
You seem very sweet about it though
Thank you!

Hi! From 1-3 years ago
The therapy services are so expensive that it almost feels like parents are being penalized for having children with developmental delays. Thank you so much making these kind of videos available.
Thank you for your kind words. I am happy to know I am helping

Hello, I am a fellow SLP and I’m wondering what this specific puzzle set is called and where you’ve purchased this from? Great content! Thanks 😊
Hi! Yay for another SLP. I found the puzzle years ago at TJ Maxx :/
Doctor isibor helped heal my granddaughter from autism and restore speech within 3 weeks.
Speech delay can be caused due to disorder in children and my son was diagnosed with autism he’s 3 years old not talking, coming across Dr isibor on comment section gave me the impression to try his herbs on my son and it was amazing 🥲 he speaks well.
Nice video, I’ve been discouraged by my Canadian doc that my daughter won’t be able to talk and it made me worried 😟 which I didn’t believe doctor isibor herbal medicine proved them wrong, she’s 5 now and communicates better 😍😍

My daughter is 19 months old and going to speech therapy because at 18 months she had no words and no babble. I was scared to teach her sign language at first because I was worried it would delay her vocal speech. After the ST explained to be it would not, teaching her sign language has helped so much ! She is finally building the bridge now and is trying to imitate sounds. It totally started with gestures first though for her. Just wanted to put that out their that sign language did help my child ❤
Thank you so much for sharing this! Good job getting your daughter services!
What type of toy is this I’d love to get one
