There was quite a bit of wind all afternoon and well into the evening. I chose Mono 4 sq/m for the first, very long session, and in the evening I also had a very pleasant ride with Mono 5 sq/m. A gorgeous day.

Yesterday's forecast collapsed. My bus had a damaged fan and I could not leave for Krapets. Everything seemed hopeless. And when the midday heat became terrible, the wind came! Even the nearby storm couldn't kill him. And if that is not happiness, what else would it be?!

With great luck, I managed to reach the kite station of the Surfshop in Burgas just when it started to blow. I rode my singleskin Mono 3 sq/m for almost 2 hours with great pleasure.

I started today with a wonderful foiling in Gradina Camp. I felt some wonderful waves in front of Chernomorets. However, the wind was decreasing and dressed in a wetsuit I left for Burgas. Misho and I exchanged hydrofoils there, I rode the SK8 750 sq/cm (awesome glide). Because of the NE wind there were very nice waves. I rode my singleskin Mono 4 sq/m all day.

After Gökceada I arrived in Bulgaria. There was an excellent forecast for Lozenets, one of the kite spots in Bulgaria with very nice waves. My expectations were fully met. After training on the beach I was extremely pleased to try the same maneuvers with my singleskin 3 sq/m kite. Riding gentle waves, it proved to be an extremely entertaining activity.

That was great!! Wondered what you would do if it went down.... In some respect single skin probably easier self rescue and to swim with because the kite is not holding water and a bit of patience and clever keeping tension on the lines as you let the lines back out a relaunch is clearly possible. Very nice! My first thoughts about single skin were no way too dangerous. I have actually found relaunch with closed cell ram air kites a bit hit and miss as if the kite takes on water - it is immediately a self rescue situation and difficult with the kite full of water - very slow swimming. You seem to get a lot of use out of the 3m too - at what wind speed can you start to use the FS Peak 3m?
I totally agree with you. Singleskin and hydrofoil is a perfect combination. So far I have 2, 3, 4, 5 sq/m Mono kites. The comfort ranges for hydrofoil riding are: 2 - 12 - 20 m/s 3 - 8 - 15 m/s 4 - 6 - 10 m/s 5 - 5 - 8 m/s I also think that singleskin kites can be restarted, although they are so light and fly well that a good kitesurfer can hardly get them in the water. With sufficient experience with singleskin kites, swimming happens a maximum of 1-2 times a year.

can you tell me who makes this kite? why is the bar so small?
At this moment it's a bit difficult to explain, because we are in the phase of preproduction. Bar length for 2 sqm is 30 cm, for 3 sqm is 35 cm, 4 sqm is with 40 cm bar, 5 sqm - 45 cm bar. Bars are very simple, without depower and safety because of size and safety nature of the singleskins.

Hi! I currently have all kites up to 6 sq/m Peak5, Click and Mono. I prefer the fastest and most accelerating kites when riding a wind wave. For pleasure, I ride practically only wave and only singleskin kites. In the video, the kites are Mono.

I doubted that the kite would be effective for the boarding. but you proved it was. 3sqm kite was also very surprisig.
3sqm kite can also drag the board. surprising~~!!! I will be able to enjoy my board with this 3sqm kite. too.
It's depend on some things like your weight, size of the board, etc.

Great reset! Not easy with waves. But would be easier if you leash the board, I allways carry a little leash, and attach It before relaunching.
