I like how it ended and the fact that they could at least tell us the end. The fact that you can watch it from episode 1 with the complete collection, and some 457 or so hours later have a complete story, is astounding.

Bobby was so much better than Sinatra. He gave his all and if he hadn't died so young Sinatra wouldn't have been so big. Bobby would have been bigger.

They left out another Key Character, Victoria Winters. In the final appearance of Vickie on the show, she and Peter announced to what remained of the Collins family, with Vickie giving Barnabas that highly bittersweet affectionate kiss, that they were going to homestead a patch of ground in the Ohio Valley, one of the earliest inklings of Manifest Destiny. Grandchildren of Vickie and Peter, would take it a step further, joining a wagon train along the Oregon Trail. One of the Granddaughters, was none other than Victoria Winters Bradford II, who was in all respects, identical to her Grandmother. The Bradford clan could have made to the sleepy sites that we now know as Seattle, Portland, Corvallis, Redding, Reno, Sacramento, Oakland, Fresno, Merced, Santa Barbara, or, Los Angeles, maybe others. Victoria II would experience the supernatural once again, for the purposes of the show this time, from the activities of rogue Native American Shamans. Somehow, Barnabas, Julia, Elliott, possibly Quentin would learn of her troubles and would travel time and space once again, into the old pre-Civil War Old West, to save her. Bradfords would also strike it rich , in the Western Gold Rushes. An elderly Victoria I, now late-widowed of Peter, would courageously venture one of the earliest stagecoach routes to visit her granddaughter, and meet once again, to see--SURPRISE(!!)--her Barnabas, once again. She never thought THIS possible, the idea of meeting her great-great-great-great granddaughter Victoria in the 1960's but, Granddaughter Victoria II would eventually travel and live back East, somewhere around the Post-Civil War years (a Cape Horn steamer), hoping to learn some more of her roots, and never receiving any answers. She would experience destitution and poverty upon her return, her limb of the family falling into oblivion, until a descendant Great-Great-(perhaps more?) Granddaughter orphan, was abandoned at a New England FOUNDLING HOME, in the mid-1940's!! So somehow, Victoria I, to her shock and astonishment, would realize, that she and her "ancestor", were the EXACT SAME person--a pure biological/temporal closed loop CIRCULAR REFERENCE!! And "Team Barnabas" wouldn't know WHAT to make of this fact revealed, revealed by the good Professor's usual thorough research. Amidst all of this, it seems that Vicki had learned of Barnabas' secret of vampirism, (sometime during her existence in the contemporaneous late'60's-early '70's) but, that never really did matter to her, since she always along, believed Barnabas to be a great and love-worthy person, regardless of what state of mortality he found himself in. She then told Barnabas this, which then set him sobbing uncontrollably, tears of relief, if anything. Through it all, she always believed in the essential goodness of Barnabas. Oh, yes, that pesky portal into parallel time? Before venturing out on this newest adventure, our good Professor once again, upon discovering some of Quentin 1840's Notes, previously undiscovered, concerning time/space anomalies, physics, NOT the supernatural, found an effective fix against the inconsistent energy fluxes with the so-called "barrier", so that he could SEAL that breach, for good. The West Wing now liberated, would now once again interest David in a quite different fashion. He would experience his family in a more practical, realistic fashion, pleasing Papa Rodger to no end; somehow, they would get closer together. David would marry, have children and grandchildren, so that when he and his wife were in early old age, in our 2020's, they would be operating the West Wing as a B&B, to get extra "pin-money". David Collins, would become the Chef's side of the operation, not too dissimilar to his real-life portrayer, David Henesy!!

One thing I don't get and maybe this was explained in an episode but if petofi is alive in the future why the heck did he want quentin and later barnabas body to survive in the future, furthermore they say in video he has a wooden hand but is it his magical hand that is replaced with or his human hand, they didnt make it clear.
