Should have been heard on US radio. But it didn't meet marketing data points. Screw that. It is awesome music.
Legend
What a great track, thanks for uploading!
Es la escena que estaba buscando
"morirán algunos", nada importante.
Brutal
''The walking dead, in the factory...'' Jacob Rees-Mogg's fantasy ?
Such an underrated band 🤔 Paul Heaton at his best in my opinion ✅️ Great sound & lyrics & I'm a massive fan of all his work 🙌 ❤️

Does anyone know what film the video is from?
Fuck me Archer is in this .
And now we are right back.. Hold your ground people
Grande Kirk Douglas!
Que PELICULON
I like this song a lot, but still feel like I'm missing the greater significance in the lyrics... is it directed against leftists who romanticize the old days of a working class that labored in heavy industry ? or just against the Thatcherite state that wants to get these workers "going back" to the job with a pay cut? [I am a Yankee who is as ignorant about most things as my countrymen, but the little bit of British-history-for-dummies that I know suggests this song may have been written during or just after the collapse of the Miners' Strike in '86... are they referencing something that specific?]
Just worry about now and Boris and Biden. Hold your ground
a bit of both, the housemartins line up all came from fairly middle class backgrounds and never worked in factories etc.
what film is that video from?
Muito bom este filme legal
What a strange video.
Obra maestra
Oh man this band is just the greatest...........there isn't a single song they recorded that I didn't love.
Totally agree. Been into a few bands but never enjoyed any of them as much as The Housemartins. A great time to be young
This song fucking slaps. That is all.

Steve Ferguson was one of a breed of utterly unique individuals who, like our mutual friend Jaco Pastorius, never had the proper support for his music. Tom Staley introduced me to Steve in 1974 after they both left NRBQ over the direction of the group and after having two releases on Columbia. It tool many years, I think, starting with the "L&M SoulDrivers" in 1977 in Boston where I was bassist, through Brother Stephen and the Humanitarians, Midwest Creole Ensemble and perhaps others, I don't know. He was fragile as was Jaco and was a strong artist as was Jaco and Steve did achieve international fame so much so Mick Jagger paid for all Steve's medical expenses at the end of his life in 2009 making a headline obituary in the NYT's. www.nytimes.com/2009/10/18/arts/music/18ferguson.html Contact me if anyone wishes to hear some of the stuff I had the privilege of working up some of his magic. He's the guy who taught me music.
I'd like very much to talk to you regarding Steve and his music--how can I contact you?
W. Roberts, hello, my name is Mike Hood and was friends with Fergie, played with him a few times and he’d hang out at our band house in the late 90’s. I’d love to hear some of what y’all did! I live in and gig regularly in Louisville.
A classic to be sure.
y genial película
4721 Archer sir
