Disco Man - The Moonflowers
Our re-make or more like response to Disco Man by the Damned (1981) for a cover's project. We'd previously done sort-of-covers of: The Clash (Armageddon Time) and The Beatles (Norwegian Wood) plus Tighten Up by Archie Bell and The Drells and we put these all together on our "Covers" EP 1992.
This video was made shortly after. Many thanks to all involved, it doesn't look like we finished it at the time but recently found footage on an old VHS tape.
Thanks to Bill Wood of Taste Productions for this and so much other footage!
Many thanks also to Mr Hopkinson for transcoding this footage into digital!
Featuring Sean O'Neill, Paul Waterworth, Sam Burns, Jesse d Vernon, Toby Pascoe, Sid Fossil, Mark "Doc" Underhill and Jarka but not Errol Flynn who can be heard drumming!

This was recorded in 1992 for the EP "Tighten Up On The Housework Brothers And Sisters" and released that same year on Pop God records. Here's what Extrageographic online say... It wasn't that easy to hear something interesting or vibrant or a bit different, if you lived in the sticks (not in London) in the UK. In 1992 there were a few specialist radio programmes and the occasional late night m...

Armed with nothing but a sack of carrots and some cabbages we set off to make a video at Bristol Poly Media Centre just before it opened in 1991, Audio and video recorded, filmed and edited in one weekend, Directed & Edited by Allen McCaskill and the band. This is lovingly restored from a crusty VHS copy. look out for: - inventive ways of using carrots and cabbages in a video clip. The carrots m...

I consider myself very lucky that this was the band that were seminal to my growing up (well late teens to early 20s) in the South West. So many good times that they provided the soundtrack too, so many amazing gigs that were nothing but pure, amazing fun.
