    There's no wrong here. Bibimbap is actually mixing rice. The essence of bibimbap is to combine any ingredients readily available and make a hearty meal. You can pick what you want to put on it etc, suitable to your palette. I don't like sesame oil and prefer sesame seed. The rice is actually the key ingredients. Since "bap" in bibimbap means "rice." Tho, I can't eat bibimbap without kimchi. For me it's the heart of every meal 😂

    If the gochujang is liquid like that it ain't gochujang. Get some short grain rice, real gochujang and sesame oil. Bibimbap is one of the best things ever when done correctly.

      Ingredients - 3 tbsp of olive oil - 5 medium sized mushrooms, sliced - 250g of cherry tomatoes, cut in half - 1 tbsp of chilli flakes - salt, to taste - 200g of feta cheese, cut into small blocks - 6 eggs whisked with 1 cup of milk - handful of fresh parsley, finely chopped Method 1. Sauté the mushrooms and cherry tomatoes 2. Add chilli flakes and salt and cook until the tomatoes are slightly soft 3. Whisk the eggs with milk and pour this over the mushrooms and tomatoes 4. Add feta cheese and scramble 5. Garnish with parsley 6. Enjoy! .

      Ingredients - 1.5 cups of red lentils, washed and soaked - 6 cups of water - 3 small red onions, chopped - 1 tbsp of ginger, finely chopped - 1/2 tsp of turmeric - 1 can of coconut milk (400mL) - 3 tbsp of canola oil - 1 and 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds - 5 dried red chillies - salt, to taste - 1/4 cup of fresh coriander, finely chopped Method 1. Add the lentils and water to a pot and bring to a boil 2. Remove any scum that may appear on the top 3. Add the turmeric, salt and coconut milk and bring to a rolling boil 4. Meanwhile sauté the onions, ginger, cumin and dried chillies until slightly caramelised 5. Add the onions and spices to the lentils and mix 6. Add chopped coriander and mix well 7. Enjoy!

      Ingredients - 1 small rainbow trout, cleaned and cut into pieces (or substitute with 500g of any fish you like) - 1 and 1/2 tsp of turmeric - 1 and 1/2 tsp of chilli powder - 1 tbsp of fresh lemon juice - 6 tbsp of olive oil - 4 dried chillies - 1 tbsp of cumin leaves - 2 cups of hot water Method 1. Marinate the fish with 1/2 tsp of turmeric, 1/2 tsp of chilli powder and lemon juice 2. Heat 4 tbsp of oil in a pan and lightly fry the fish for a 2 minutes on each side, until it gets some colour 3. Remove the fish and set aside 4. To the same pan, add 2 tbsp of oil and the dried chillies and cumin seeds 5. Once the cumin seeds start spluttering, add 1 tsp of turmeric, 1 tsp of chilli powder and salt 6. Add water (add some to the bowl the fish was marinated in) and pour all this in 7. Simmer on low for about 20 minutes 8. Reduce on high heat for 5 minutes 9. Enjoy with rice! .

      Ingredients - 2 tsp of instant coffee - 1 cup of hot water - 1 and 1/3 cup plain flour - 1 cup almond flour - 2 tbsp of cocoa powder - 1 cup of caster sugar - 1 cup canola oil - 2 eggs - 200g of milk chocolate, chopped Method 1. Add the instant coffee and hot water to a mug and mix well before setting aside 2. In a bowl, add the plain flour, almond flour, cocoa powder, caster sugar, canola oil, the coffee and mix 3. Add the eggs and mix again 4. Add the chocolate and fold them through the batter 5. Pour the mixture out in a tin lined with baking paper 6. Bake at 180°C for 35 to 40 minutes 7. Let it cool before cutting into slices 8. Enjoy!

      Ingredients - 3 tbsp of neutral oil (I used canola oil) - 1 medium sized red onion, chopped - 5 red chillies, chopped - 6 dried red chillies - 3 chicken thigh fillets, chopped into small chunks - 1 and 1/2 tbsp of garlic powder - 2 tbsp of chilli flakes - salt, to taste - 2 tbsp of Sriracha sauce - 1 head of broccoli, cut into florets - 100g of green beans, chopped - 280g of cooked noodles (I used instant noodles but use whatever you like) Method 1. Heat the oil and sauté the onion, fresh chillies and dried chillies 2. Once the onions start turning brown, add the chicken, garlic powder, chilli flakes, salt and Sriracha and cook for a couple of minutes 3. Add the broccoli and beans before simmering on low for about 10 minutes 4. Add the cooked noodles and combine well 5. Enjoy! . .

      Ingredients - 2 tbsp of chilli oil - 1/4 cup of the white part of spring onions, chopped - 300g of prawns - 1 tbsp of garlic + ginger paste - 2 tsp of hot chilli powder - 1 tsp of paprika - 2 tbsp of soy sauce - 1 small head of broccoli, chopped into florets - 6 large mushrooms, sliced - 100g of green beans - salt, to taste - 2 cups of cold, day old cooked rice - chopped green part of spring onions, to garnish Method 1. Sauté the white part of some spring onions in the chilli oil 2. Add prawns, garlic + ginger paste, chilli powder, paprika, soy sauce and salt 3. Add the vegetables and stir fry for a couple of minutes 4. Add the rice and mix well on high heat 5. Garnish with the green part of spring onions 6. Enjoy! .

      ngredients - 6 eggs - 1/2 cup of coriander, finely chopped - 5 red chillies, sliced - 2 medium sized onions, diced - 6 cloves of garlic, finely chopped - 1 tsp of hot chilli powder - 1 tsp of paprika - 1/2 tsp of turmeric - 3/4 tsp of curry powder - 1 can (400mL) of coconut cream - 1/2 cup of water - salt, to taste - 1/2 tsp of sugar - oil, to taste Method 1. Whisk the eggs with a pinch of coriander, chillies and salt 2. Pour the eggs into some oil and once the omelette appears solid, flip it over into half 3. Cut the omelette into bite size portions ad set aside 4. In another pan, sauté the onions, garlic and chillies 5. Once the onions are translucent, add the spices, coconut cream, water, salt and sugar 6. Bring it to a boil and add the omelette pieces back in 7. Simmer on low for about 5 minutes 8. Reduce on high for another 2 minutes 9. Garnish with coriander 10. Enjoy!

      Ingredients - 8 tbsp of canola oil - 1 whole chicken, cut into small pieces - 2 large onions, diced - approx. 10 thin slices of ginger - 2 tsp of hot chilli powder - 1/2 tsp of turmeric - 1 and 1/2 tsp of cumin powder - 2 tsp of coriander powder - salt, to taste - 2 large tomatoes, cut into chunks - 4 large Thai green chillies, sliced - fresh ginger slices, to garnish - 1/2 cup of fresh coriander, chopped Method 1. Lightly fry the chicken until it turns slightly golden then set aside 2. In the same oil, sauté the onions and ginger 3. Once the onions start turning translucent, add the spices 4. Fry the onions and spices for a couple of minutes until fragrant 5. Add the chicken and tomato chunks 6. Stir well to cover chicken with spices 7. Add the green chillies and salt 8. Simmer on low for about 15 minutes 9. Reduce on high while continuously stirring for a couple of minutes 10. Garnish with fresh ginger and coriander 11. Enjoy! .

      Ingredients - 2 cups of plain flour - 1 and 1/2 tsp of baking powder - 1 and 3/4 cups of sugar - zest of 1 medium sized lime - juice of 1 medium sized lime - 1 cup of melted butter - 2 eggs - 3/4 cup of milk Icing Ingredients - 80 of butter, softened to room temp - 1 and 1/2 cups of icing sugar - zest of 1/2 a medium sized lime - juice of 1/2 a medium sized lime - extra zest, to garnish Method 1. Add the sugar and lime zest to a bowl and incorporate these together 2. To the flour, add the lime zest and sugar mixture, like huice, melted butter and mix 3. Add the eggs, milk and stir to form a smooth batter 4. Pour the cake batter into a baking tin thoroughly greased with butter 5. Bake at 180°C for about 45 minutes, or until a skewer comes out clean 6. Let the cake cool 7. Whip the butter using a stand mixture and add the icing sugar, lime zest and juice before mixing well 8. Spread the icing over the cake 9. Garnish with fresh lime zest 10. Enjoy!

      Ingredients (per sandwich) - 2 slices of bread - 2 tbsp of Sriracha - 1 handful of shredded mozzarella - 3 tsp of chilli oil Method 1. Spread Sriracha on one side of each piece of bread 2. Top the Sriracha with cheese and chilli oil 3. Add the other piece of bread on top and press down 4. Bake in the oven at 190°C for 20 minutes 5. Enjoy! .

      You all know I can’t go a week without some noodles so here’s a delicious lamb steak noodle dish that’s incredibly tasty and simple to make! SAVE THIS RECIPE! Ingredients - 4 tbsp of peanut oil - 2 small red onions, sliced - 2 red chillies - 6 cloves of garlic, sliced - 215g of lamb steak, sliced into strips - 2 tbsp of soy sauce - 1 tbsp of sweet soy sauce - salt, to taste - 1 tsp of brown sugar - 1 medium sized red capsicum - 1 small head of broccoli, cut into florets - 270g of cooked udon noodles - 1/2 tsp of sesame oil Method 1. Heat the peanut oil and add the onions, chillies and garlic 2. Add the lamb and fry until slightly brown 3. Add the soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, capsicum and broccoli 4. Season with salt and brown sugar and stir fry everything on high heat for 2-3 minutes 5. Add the noodles and drizzle some sesame oil on top 6. Mix well to combine 7. Enjoy!

      Ingredients - 3 tbsp of butter - 3 chicken thighs - 280g of sun-dried tomatoes - 600mL of thickened cream - 1 and 1/2 tbsp of Italian seasoning - 1 tsp of paprika - 8 green Thai chillies - 2 tbsp of chilli flakes - salt, to taste - 500g of cooked pasta - chopped parsley, to garnish Method 1. Brown the chicken in the butter for a couple of minutes then set aside 2. In the same pan, add the sun-dried tomatoes, cream, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt,green chillies and chilli flakes 3. Bring it to a boil then add the chopped up chicken back in 4. Simmer on low for about 5 minutes 5. Add the pasta and combine 6. Garnish with parsley 7. Enjoy!

      Ingredients - 250g (1 pack) of Marie biscuits - 1 cup of milk - 250g of mascarpone cheese - 3/4 cup of icing sugar - 300mL of thickened cream, whipped - 3 tbsp of Lotus Biscoff spread Drizzle Ingredients - 2 heaped tbsp of Lotus Biscoff spread - 2 tbsp of hot water Method 1. Whip the cream and once it forms stiff peaks, fold in the biscoff spread 2. Mix this cream mixture with mascarpone cheese and icing sugar and set aside 3. Lightly soak Marie biscuits in milk and arrange in a large dish 4. Pour the cream mixture on top and smooth it out 5. Mix biscoff spread and water and drizzle this all over 6. Let it set in the fridge overnight 7. Enjoy! .

Mix the flours and spices 2. Coat the prawns in the flour and then deep fry for a couple of minutes 3. To make the sauce, mix mayonnaise, mint, coriander and chilli oil 4. Enjoy together!

      Ingredients - 3 cups of plain flour - 1 tsp of baking powder - 1 and 3/4 cups of powdered sugar - 150g of melted butter - 2 tbsp of Rooh Afza/ rose syrup - 1/3 cup of oat milk - 2 eggs Ingredients for the icing - 100g of softened butter - 1 and 2/3 cups of powdered sugar - 2 tbsp of Rooh Afza/ rose syrup - extra Rooh Afza to drizzle on top - dried rose petals, to sprinkle on top Method 1. Sift the flour and baking powder 2. Add the powdered sugar, melted butter, Rooh Afza, oat milk and eggs and mix well 3. Pour the batter into a lined cake tin and bake at 180°C for 30-40 minutes, or until a skewer comes out clean 4. Whip the softened butter and add the powdered sugar and Rooh Afza 5. Spread the icing over a cooled cake 6. Drizzle Rooh Afza on top and sprinkle rose petals all over 7. Enjoy!

      Ingredients ⁃ 2L of full cream milk ⁃ 250g of roasted vermicelli ⁃ 1.5 cups of sugar ⁃ 300mL of thickened/heavy cream ⁃ 1 tbsp of sliced pistachios ⁃ 1 tbsp of flaked almonds Method 1. Add the milk to a pan 2. Once it is hot, add the roasted vermicelli and stir 3. Once the vermicelli starts sticking to the spoon, add the sugar and mix 4. Once the sugar melts, turn the heat off and add thickened cream and stir until well combined 5. Garnish with pistachios and almonds 6. Enjoy!

      Ingredients - 8 Medjool Dates, pitted - 100g of cream cheese, softened - 500g of lamb mince - 1 tsp of paprika - salt, to taste - 1 tsp of cumin powder - 1 tsp of coriander powder - 1/2 cup of fresh parsley, chopped - 3 red chillies, chopped - 2 tbsp of pomegranate molasses - olive oil, for frying Method 1. Remove the pits from the dates 2. Stuff the dates with cream cheese 3. Add paprika, salt, cumin powder, coriander powder, parsley, chillies and pomegranate molasses to the mince and mix well 4. Create a ball shape and enclose the date in the mince mixture, ensuring it’s smooth and there are no cracks 5. Lightly fry the kebabs for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown 6. Drain the kebabs on some paper towel 7. Serve with pomegranate molasses 8. Enjoy!

      Ingredients - 6 boiled eggs - 1/2 a large red capsicum, chopped into chunks - 1/2 a large green capsicum, chopped into chunks - 6 tbsp of Greek yoghurt - 1/2 tbsp of garlic + ginger paste - 2 tsp of chilli powder - 1 tsp of chilli flakes - 1 tsp of paprika - 1/2 tsp of turmeric - 1 tsp of cumin powder - 1 tsp of coriander powder - salt, to taste - 1 tsp of garam masala - oil, for pan frying Method 1. Mix the yoghurt, garlic + ginger paste and the spices together 2. Add the boiled eggs and capsicum and mix well 3. Place the capsicum and eggs on skewers 4. Pan fry the skewers for a coupe of minutes, until charred 5. Enjoy! .

      Ingredients - 150g of mushrooms, sliced - 5 red chillies, chopped - Italian seasoning, to taste - shredded mozzarella, to taste - 3 puff pastry sheets, each sheet cut into 4 - 1 egg, whisked Method 1. Place the chillies on a tray lined with baking paper 2. Put the mushrooms on top 3. Sprinkle Italian seasoning on top of the mushrooms 4. Add a handful of cheese 5. Place the puff pastry square on top and pack it down 6. Give the pastry an egg wash 7. Bake in the oven at 180°C for about 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown 8. Enjoy! .

      Ingredients - 6 large tomatoes, cut into chunks - 12 cloves of garlic - 3 tbsp of olive oil - 500mL of vegetable stock - salt, to taste - fresh dill, to garnish Method 1. Add the tomatoes and garlic to a baking dish 2. Drizzle olive oil and season and season with salt 3. Roast in the oven at 180°C for about 50 minutes 4. Add the roasted veg to a pot and vegetable stock 5. Season with salt if needed and bring it to a boil 6. Blend the mixture 7. Serve with fresh dill 8. Enjoy!
