6 p.m.: We are making progress, but we are still finding new surprises. We are thankful that the storm was not worse than what it was. Please know our crews are still diligently working through some messes as quickly and safely as possible. We still are estimating around 36 hours for total restoration. 4:30 p.m.: We are still finding more issues but we are making progress in Diehlstadt, Chaffee, Vanduser, East Prairie, New Madrid, and more. 36 hours for total restoration. We are replacing nearly 30 poles for those with Dexter and Essex addresses - probably tomorrow afternoon. Check back later for another update. Please stay away from downed power lines.

2 p.m.: We have several places with poles down and efforts continue. Crews from Callaway Electric Cooperative and Crawford Electric Cooperative just arrived. We haven’t forgotten Benton, Chaffee, Lilbourn, East Prairie, Matthews, and more. It will take about 36 hours for total restoration. Please watch for our next update at 4 pm.
