Possums in AC pt 1
I have a couple of possums living above my a/c unit outside in a little house my neighbour and I built for the lorikeets. They come out at night to feed so I leave apple out occasionally for them.

Rainbow Lorikeets crazy GoPro feeding frenzy!

I've been feeding a pair of Rainbow Lorikeets for the past 12 months on my balcony. Recently they brought their new born with them to show them where to get a free feed. All of a sudden word got out there was free food at mine and in the past 5 days a flock of them have arrived. There are now well over 30 of them!

Sunflower seeds not healthy for them. They love them. But we love French fries. Apples, pears, grapes, they love too and is good for them.
Lorikeets don’t have a gall bladder and can’t digest seeds, though they live to eat them. Ok as a very occasional treat, but very bad for them on a regular basis. Fruit and veges ok to feed.
They aren't seed eaters!!! But will occasionally eat seeds if desperate for food.

Sunflower seeds are too fatty for them, will give them fatty liver disease. My vet told me (Alex Rosenwax) that the most common death of domesticated parrots is too much fat. My cockatoo pet of 20 years died from it, mind you if ur only feeding them this once in awhile, it’s ok. It’s a treat food for them. Good to use in training.
Feeding wildlife is cruel and selfish in so many ways.

They are Nectar eaters not seed eaters.
Lorikeet aren't supposed to eat seeds.... I this I own 2 of them

@@nicholasbirbas9425 Ohhhh, I've always wanted a cockatoo, We have a flock of wild ones that I occasionally buy wild bird seed and sunflower seeds for, They are beautiful and some sit on my fence and eat from my hand ☺️

This is not healthy since rainbow lorikeets can’t eat seeds, it will clog up their digestive system and possibly kill them I know this because I have a pet rainbow lorikeet

I have a beautiful boy named maveric he is the funniest bird I’ve ever had the pleasure to bond with I can’t stop laughing when he is in a playful mood (98% of each day) he chases my hand loves to run under the covers and pop his head in and out he is like a dog. They remind me so much of dinosaurs. Especially rainbow lorikeets.

I have used this video a lot to attract local lorikeets to our new house and bird feeder. It works a treat. Had about 15 lorikeets in my yard in about 3 minutes

Rainbow lorakeets are small and have very small stomachs therefore they can’t digest seed and will kill them they eat nectar out of flowers
