NOCO Genius 2D Side Post Install
This Video explains how I modded my cables to make the NOCO Genius 2D work on a Side Post battery.
Items Needed
2 - 1.5"x3/8" Stainless Steel Bolts
2 - 3/8" Stainless Steel Nuts
6 - 5/16th Stainless washers that I had to drill put the center hole to 3/8" {this allowed the outer diameter of the washers to fit in the rubber cable housing}.

Philips Series 7000 Bluetooth Problems

This is for those that cannot get your Phillips Norelco 7000 series shaver (and maybe other series with bluetooth connectivity), to connect with the GroomTribe App. I have seen MANY people in the apps reviews complaining about the same issue, and the app team, have not addressed it for any solution, so hopefully this fix works for others! Like the video and drop a comment and let me know if it ...

This product has a dangerous defect and should be recalled, but the company refuses to do so! Here is the link to the Discussion I started on the FuriousFPV facebook page, I figured I'd just link to this instead of trying to put screenshots in my video - m. groups/1625283811098720?view=permalink&id=2008547732772324 Here is the link to my repair video - czcams.com/video/ku7OWI_WiCc/v...
FuriousFPV Smartcable Repair 2.0 (Upper Switch short Repair)

Hi All, This video is kind of a Part 2, The first video czcams.com/video/DospIG2O_8g/video.html was made by FPV_Slacker from the Alaska Drone Racing League in which he shows how to disassemble and repair the FuriousFPV SmartCable, which appears to have an issue with the cables breaking at the exit of main unit which causes the loss of power to your FPV goggles (sometimes while you are in flight...

I’m having a similar issue. It’s been like this since day one. I’ve been told it’s probably my settings, but I thought I took it out of pit mode. I’m still trying to figure it out. I can’t fly very far.
Yeah the instructions are crap loads 😢 pictures most of which mean nothing Good shaver bad user manual
Thanks man¡¡¡
Worked first time for me. Resolved the Bluetooth problem. Well done to you! Thanks.
Very helpful Sir.Your info was most helpful. There is not much info to this problem. Mine is a thousand model but i had no till your useful info.Thank you Sir.
I have been doing this for years on side post terminals. I use a flanged nut for better contact, longer bolt gets a better connection and won't strip the threads. Makes it a lot easier to use jumper cables too.
Thanks, that is a great Idea with the flanged bolt, I'll definitely try that next time.
I have the same problem with mine, I was going to cut the end off and put alligator clamps. Thanks for the video.
@towniepats4409 You're very welcome, hope I helped! I was thinking about doing the she thing, but first I was afraid it would void the Noco's warranty, and second, I didn't want the alligator clamps popping of these dumb side terminals ask the time!
Perfect thank you👌
Thank you very much
What does the app actually do?
Not much, mainly it let's you know in real time if you are shaving with the correct circular motions and if it's taking you to long..... stuff like that.... it's actually kinda gimmicky. I used it for the first few weeks of owning this razor and it did reteach me how to use ekectric shavers properly, but after that I haven't really used it much.
Thank you. It is so hard to find diy on this hoover. By any chance do you have a diy on why not it's not sucking very well ? Maybe due to being plugged?
oh man you SAVED ME!!! Thanks Mate! Also now that it has finally connected after several months, it is running an update. Not to sure how recent that is but lets hope it fixes that issue completely. Cannot believe the designer of the app didn't even know to suggest what you offer here. Stoooooooooopid. 😝
how do i get the lil blk nozel that releases water and solution out
Thanks for the helpful video! This fix saved a few pounds of plastic from a landfill. I have a machine that hasn't worked for the last 4 years. I found your video today after considering purchasing a new unit. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge. You have definitely helped somebody out! Thank you.
Hi there, by any chance do you still have the smart cable?, because I’m looking for ones if you want to sell it. Edit: I saw all the vids you did on it and I would love to get better at soldering, it’ll be a small project to learn. Thanks
fool
Omg finally, thank you very much, I managed to reconnect with my phone, thank you
You're Welcome, glad it helped!
Thank you for posting this. Mine has the same issue and most likely it's in the pump after checking all the lines for blockage.
Update: The issue turned out to be a blown T3.15a fuse located in the handle assembly. It governs the solenoid that opens the upholstery sprayer.
Great video but you actually can remove that pump without taking all the rest of that off you just need a long screwdriver or screwdriver bit remove that one screw and wiggle it out
It looks like you had to epoxy the impeller to the shaft. My impeller cracked at the hub. I 3D printed 10 new impellers out of PLA. Worked like a champ for me. Notice that one impeller slot is wider than the other 3. I will sell an impeller for 5 bucks. Beats 80 bucks for an Amazon replacement unit. These pumps are no longer manufactured nor available from Hoover... Great video. It got me rolling.
Thank you!!
Very smart man
Helped a lot thank you
I fix the spinning but water was not spraying from the hand scrub. Any suggestion. Thank you.
Stop stammering and get to the point
😂😂😂
Thanks much. I have the same problem and this will be a great help with disassembly.
My sprayer seems to work fine, but the reservoir seems to be leaking quickly out the little sq. hole by the brushes. Any ideas there?
Outstanding! Exactly the problem with mine as well! Thanks much for your video help!
Wonderful walk through on the attachment sprayer pump
Great info. I followed your instructions and fixed the same problem. Thanks to you I didn't break anything during disassembly and didn't have parts left over! Many thanks!
I am so close! I just can’t get the cover off!
Evan Carr how do I get off the lever that controls the rotating brush speed?
Evan Carr well, that didn’t go as planned. Oh broke off. But I can still move the lever with the broken stub.
Well, it’s toast. Some other plastic piece and a spring broke off and I am now out of my depth. Oh well. It got many good years of use out of it.
yes that was the problem but it was the other side ,,,,,,,,,,...….. so what a permeant fix
Thank you so much I really needed the lesson.
my sprayer solution spray everywhere. Is it supposed too
It's supposed to kinda "Fan Out" from the nozzle, what do you mean by "it sprays everywhere"?
@@0Gravity1966 IT DOESN'T JUST FAN OUT IT GOES OUT REALLY FAR. I WONDERED IF THERE WAS SOMETHING I HAD SOMETHING HOOKED UP WRONG
Jammin..sounds good
Hello, thanks for the informative video! Got a few questions for ya please, do you still not recommend this cable? Are there any other cables like this one? I need to find something like this because I can't use my goggles with the battery pushing my face, thanks for your time
This cable CANNOT be trusted as it is shipped....the company keeps saying that they have fixed the issues in the latest revisions, but every time a new revision comes out they seem to have the exact same problem.... you can read many many MANY posts on FuriousFPV's very own facebook page that prove that this is still an ongoing problem, I have had four of them personally fail on me, so unless you want to spend the money to buy this product and then spend MORE time and money to take it apart and replace the defective wires (which is what I ultimately had to do to make this product to where I could trust it) then please don't bother! As for another product I think there are other similar ones out there, but I'm not sure where to look. You can use any 2s battery to power your goggles, so you could also build an extension yourself to either run off any 2s lipo with an xt connector on one end and a barrel connector on the other, or you could still use your fatshark type battery and make an extension for that! If you want to go with a 3s or 4s battary you would need to add a voltage Regulator into the line so that it always feeds the googles with a steady 8 volts or less. Look around on google and CZcams, I'm sure I seem plans on how to make these cables somewhere!
5 uses and mine failed
Nice job Mike. I wonder if the outer jacket is allowing too much bend ? The outer jacket is very thin I think. I will link this video to the other one as well.
Very helpful video. I have the same problem & will need to do this if a clogged spray nozzle isn't the cause. Can you please let me know if this did, in fact, resolve your issue? Thanks Denise
Yes it did, and with flushing it out well after every use, it has continued to work trouble free ever since!
My sprayer isn't spraying. Thank you for the helpful video. I plan on doing this repair in the next couple days. I have a feeling it'll fix the problem since, like you, I already checked the easy stuff.
I'm going to have to try this with some HD footage....I dont think the FPV feed quality lends itself well to VR Goggles!
Crap. Don't have a gent to outsource this task to, but I'm sure this is what I need to do. I'm sure I'll need an adult beverage after...
Laura Sullivan heck... make it interesting and have a couple before, during AND after...lol.... good luck!
Saweeeeet
AWESOME!!!!!!!!! i chase cars now with my leader 120. i don't even know if they see it half the time
The only thing I have to keep an eye on is that little glitch that happened right before the video ended.....when I came over that last tree, I was turning to the left, and all of a sudden it flipped right.....I DIDNT do that....Im wondering if its because the lipo was getting low!
mine’s doing the same thing in flight. have you found a fix?
Yes..... I pinched and sliced the insulator on one of the ECU power wires and it was partially grounding to the metal FC post going thru the frame, thus causing a minor shorting, I fixed the wire and rerouted it and all is back to normal now! Did you recently do any work on yours? I would go thru and look at all the connections and wires, look for shorting somewhere!
0Gravity1966 i bought it 2 days ago. and it’s been doing it since i bought it.
What Type of Quad? Is it New or Used? Does it fly at all? First things first, check the easy stuff, Make sure the props are on right, make sure the motors are spinning the proper directions, make sure the props are all tight and none of them isn't slipping....if you can grab the prop and turn it while holding the motor bell it is probably too loose.
Haha.... yea if I got discouraged every time I crashed, I'd have quit a LONG time ago! Thx and yes I feel as I'm getting better with every run around the track... still a long way to go, but considering its only about my fifth time in a course, I'm making progress!
Hey brother. It’s normal for it to ramp up on the bench. Try that same test in acro mode
Thanks JJ, But this thing sounded like a V8 running on 5 cylinders...it literally sounded like a misfire on the motors ....I had just finished putting a TPU mount in for this PITA Femto board, to keep it from moving around on the double sided tape (which was how Emax mounted it in the babyhawk originally).....In the process I pinched and sliced one of the ECU power wires and it was partially grounding to the metal FC post going thru the frame, thus causing a minor shorting, I fixed the wire and rerouted it and all is back to normal now! BTW I absolutely love your videos/rants! You have Great sense of humor, and a unique way of wording things! Keep them coming! Oh, and that was in Acro Mode...lol
This was absolutely the problem with my attachment. The piece inside broke and will need to be replaced before it's usable again. And I'm with Gluluman, seeing it come apart would have helped a lot, but I will not complain over-loudly. This video took strait to the problem...and I now know a whole lot more about steam-cleaners than I ever thought I would.
I also agree, but the thought to make the video came after I already had it apart...LOL...maybe next time!
it's ok, he was miles away ;)
Haha...yea....would you like a shave with that haircut sir!
Thanks for the video...I ended up replacing the pump (it was rust-frozen) but your video certainly helped me diagnose the problem!
Your welcome....glad it helped!!
