Him and F. Murray Abrahama both made this movie and both deserved an Oscar. Too bad Tom Hulce wasn't nominated as the best supportive actor, then he would have definitely won it.

Gluch "Unser Dummer Pobel" his most popular work in the genre in the 18th century. It was performed in French in Brussels, Bordeaux, Amsterdam, Hague, Mannheim (1768), Frankfurt (1771),Copenhagen (1772), Liège (1776), Cassel (1780), Lille, and Marseille, Munich, Berlin. Era un'epoca di rugurgiti carbonari e le opere scaligere avevano una precisa funzionalita' social politica. Dovevano piacere al pubblico scaligero. E allora storie melodramnatiche, sontuose, scenografie d'impatto. La musica non c'e'. Poche arie che pero' sono nazional popolari e che si ricordano subito. Si cantano come una canzone di san remo: grazie dei fior, oh bella ciao e via discorrendo. Il successo e' assicurato ed e' imperituro perche' sono arie che si cantano ancora oggi. Punto. Musicisti raffinati? Rachmaninov (Rachamaninoff per chi ama la tradizione russa) io lo trovo eccezionale. Corelli. Chi piu' ascolta Corelli? Bach: virtuoso della musica. Mozart oggettivamente bravo, ma molto inquietante (del resto apparteneva alla massoneria esoterica nera). Ad ascoltarlo mi vengono le vertigini. Penso al rondo' che poi e' come un rondo' stradale che scava scava scava e finisce dove si e' iniziato al punto zero. E le nozze di Figaro di Rossini? Dove mettiamo le baruffe finali in musica? Forse che non e" un capolavoro? Io comunque confesso che non sono una melomane e non amo molto l'opera lirica: confesso che preferisco il teatro per il plot e la musica sinfonica e cameristica.
@@lorenzocassani8169 da ultimo, ultimamente mi sto cimentando con l'ascolto del Jazz che e' musica prima sconosciuta. Devo dire che ci devo fare un po' l'orecchio, pero' mi piace. Il Jazz e il Blues sono un campo musicale a se'.
ho studiato il rondo' perche' a 8 anni iniziai a studiare pianoforte, molto seriamente perche' furono severissimi. cominciai ad avere problemi agli occhi e un tic nervoso fastidiosissimo. in retrospettiva mi sono vista in un corridoio a suonare. mando il video della retrospettiva.
mozart apparteneva ad una setta, un tempio in cui il bosco e gli esseri del bosco entravano come contenuti che musicalmente orchestrati costituivano il tempio. teologicamente ogni essere umano e' interiormente come un tempio. il finale turkish, ad esempio. parte da un inizio che e' il rondo' alla turca. un percorso infinito ma tutto ruotante su un punto. finisce dove e' iniziato e in nessun luogo. io ho studiato quello spartito e ho trovato il rondo' alla turca. mando il video. si svolta un angolo e si scende in un punto. quell'angolo ha i vetri a specchio. sembrano vetri ma invece sono specchi riflettenti.
