Excellent video. Thank you
What time of the year were you there???
We have been there at various times of the year. This trip was in September. The weather was warm enough to swim but not too hot.
Great video. So sad to see your home and the village up in water. Trust you and the family are well after this ordeal.
Yes, thanks. We have recovered although looking with some concern at deluge of rain we currently experiencing. Praying it will be Ok. Crazy weather nowadays.
Excellent washrooms
Yes they are
White cubs, are a result of albinism. Within every species. Not rare" just random genetics. 🙄🥱
We were at de Hoop that weekend, at site 10 next to you. Given the weather forecast we left at 6 am the morning after the rugby game, just as well as the winds down to Cape Town became dangerous. I hope you recovered from the flood, it looks pretty bad.
The floods were crazy but we have recovered. My car had to be replaced after swimming in a river for about a week but have another car and ready to venture out again.
Absolutely beautiful and your choice of music is top notch
Just found your channel - watched this and the de Hoop video. Really awesome, thanks so much, looking forward to the next one. We have a house a bit lower down the Duiwenhoks River at Vermaaklikheid, another gem of the Western Cape.
We will definitely make a plan to come an explore that area. There are so many wonderful places to explore.

Lovely. Did not know we had redwood forests in SA.
There are no ancient Redwoods in the western cape, They are from the USA.
How absolutely stunning. What a great place... Wish I was still young and agile enough. Be there like a shot. Thanks for a great video. ❤
If I wanted to see ancient Redwood Forests I'd visit the USA. If they are in South Africa I have serious doubts if they are ancient. In Africa I want to see African Forests.
Enjoy your trip
The old colonial government tested redwoods in the area, so the Grove is a 100 years old. The rest of the forest is virgin Afromontanr forests, the largest remaining patch west of George.
So cute. This must be the cub of the white female of the Birmingham pride 💜🦁
