Rest In Peace - Heidi Trilsch

Heidi Trilsch of St. Petersburg Florida, died peacefully on May 29, 2021 after a two-year battle with cancer. A lifelong sailor, Heidi was happiest when she was on the water. Her final voyage occurred on July 19th of 2021 when family and friends gathered to spread her ashes across the Hawk Channel in Marathon, Florida.

If you are scuba diving the south pass you start on the ocean side of the channel and drift into the lagoon. We found that when snorkeling it was best to start just inside the lagoon and drift into the lagoon where the water was much shallower.

The Tohua Koueva archaeological site is the largest of several on Nuku Hiva. The ancient people who inhabited the Marquesas believed that rocks grew just like all living things and there was a lot of spirituality associated with papa or rocks. The archaeological site was shot with MavicPro drone and the performance was shot with an IPhone 7.

A short video essay of our trip to a waterfall on Fatu-Hiva. It had been fairly dry so not much water was flowing. We had thought about taking a dip but then we saw these eel like creatures swimming in the water. That quickly put an end to any thoughts of a cool refreshing dip.
