This guy is so fucking awesome

The logic with the light roots was lazy. The whole game was dev lazy. Probably the most lazy designed game in the franchise. They should have made you activate a light root in order to activate a shrine. Another thing is the sky islands can't from the depths but how since they're not directly above a hole and they don't match aesthetically. There's so much random confusing things. The other lazy part is the lack of variety in this giant scale of monsters... They give us like 20 total.
