Halloween Themed Mini Junk Journals! These are SOOOOO COOL!!!
I followed a tutorial by Lyric Lover Crafts, czcams.com/video/TrewOwtXu88/video.htmlsi=Au_KlYOYefUlNu4g. @lyriclovercrafts She did this as part of her craft fair series. I was super intrigued by these and had to make one.
Then I made a bigger sized one.
Then I made a do-si-do version.
I really hope you like these! I was able to smash the rest of my Photo Play "Fright Night" paper collection. I had used it for a prototype project, and had some left over that I used up for these.

If you want to make the bigger size one like I did, here are the measurements and scoring...
For each journal the large pages were 12 x 7 1/2, score on the 12 at 5 1/2, 6, 6 1/2. Make two
For the mini page, it was 12 x 4 1/2, score the same as the large page
For the pocket page, 11 x 9 1/2. Score on the 11 at 5 1/2, score on the 9 1/2 at 2 (on the bottom)
The spine is 2 x 7 1/2
The tag I cut at 4 1/2 x 7 1/4
Then I just went to town decorating!

These are so adorable! Isn't that a great binding system? (I wonder why it took so long for someone to figure that out😂) I recently made a file folder project using this technique and something else I will post later in September. An absolutely fantastic project. You are full of awesome crafty ideas! Love these papers. Please consider doing a smaller rounder cake too. I have seen a bunch of small round cakes on the inside of Explosion Boxes. Since you have made so many types of Explosion boxes, could you please show us how to make a tiny round cake that can sit inside the box? Many Thanks.

AWESOME!! Wondering though, why the sides on the med and large boxes have two smaller mitered cuts yet the third mitre us so much steeper??
It’s the corner that I mitered steeper, kind of like a pocket. So there’s not a lot of bulk. Probably not necessary but that’s why. Thanks for watching!!!💕

I have to agree with what everyone else has said here! I am watching the video again to get all the scoring measurements, but want to ask just one question. How many sheets of the 12 x 12 cardstock do I need for this project?
Hi, I am so glad that you liked this project! Thanks so much for watching. I did a rough count and I believe you will need 22 sheets of 12 x 12 cardstock to make this. It is a big project, and requires a lot, but it is so worth it. I used one whole pack of the Photo Play paper, and two sheets of coordinating cardstock to mat the covers. I hope that helps! Have fun with it!

@@Marta-o5z It’s a gauze pad like you would use for a dressing or bandage. It’s lint free and 4x4” is the perfect size.
