This product worked just like it was supposed to. I couldn’t believe it. It was magical. I tried to clean the steps before and nothing would come off. I poured it in and instantly the steps were shining white. Amazing. Thank you.

Excellent, informative video. Thank you. I learned that I've been putting my cable through the ratchet wrong for years now lol. 😅 My cable tightens down just fine. I've been running both sides in the same direction through all 3 ratchet holes together, then pulling all the excess cable out the end hole before tightening it up. My method has been working well, and I've not lost a cover off the pool yet. Im going to try it the way in the video this time and see what happens. Live and learn. 😅

Appreciate this video. I know it's simple, but so am I sometimes.

I have a Hayward filter at the end of the first summer it was impossible to get the lid off. Eventually a lot of hammering with a rubber mallet got the job done but I had to really whack it and I was worried it would shatter. After that year I put a lot of vaseline on the threads and it has been a breeze to get the lid off.

How did you set the whole system up. Just got one and can’t find a video that shows how to set the whole system step by step

how do you know which set up to use? With the dual port and cartridge filter do you use the verticle outlet and that hose to the top along with the horizontal connection or just the horizontal one and cap off the vertical outlet?

Get good DE filter instead of this piece of junk.

Why not drain below skimmer line?

While you're replacing the bulb you may notice that the manual says you should also take out the tube that holds the bulb once in a while. What ever you do... DON'T EVER CLEAN THE TUBE! This requires removing the light bulb and then removing the tube itself for cleaning. I know the manual says to do this once a year; DON'T DO IT! I followed the manual's instructions and tried this and the tube did not go in well. It went in fine by itself but once the light was inserted back in the tube shifted and started leaking. I talked to the folks where I about the tube from and they said that the tubes never go back in right and they suggest not changing them. I had a technician come out and try to do it and they couldn't do it either without leaking. Ended up having to replace the whole ClearRay assembly for $600.00. Call Jacuzzi about this and they were basically useless. They said, "if it's in the manual you should do it and what you're experiencing shouldn't happen and no, you can't talk to our technician"; basically useless and not helpful at all. The place where we bought the tube have always given me good advice and their customer service has been awesome from day one. Their recommendation... "NEVER CLEAN THE TUBE!". If you do, you're gonna have a bad (and expensive) day.
