Fair do’s considering the hammering he’s taken over the last few months and certainly I haven’t held back on my savage criticism of the shambles we’ve seen. There is more to what’s going on than we’ll ever know but reading between the lines the new owners financial discipline and expectations of demonstrable work ethics from the players clearly shine through. The last time we saw anything similar was when Gerry Francis came to the club and to a certain extent the steel of Matt is comparable if not yet to have been able to get the control required due to the circumstances inherited. It will take time to turn what clearly has been an amateur level business into a modern professional profitable one but unless this is carried through with all the bumps in the road met head on and dealt with this club will sink without trace.

Well it looks as if the owners are going with MT. For next season one thing is for sure he has a very big job to do in the summer I hope the owners have not made a very big mistake the first 10 games will tell if they were right or wrong ?

I fully understand the supporters frustrations but we are talking about professional players here who for one reason or another have struggled to find a collective winning streak, individually we have some very good footballers. There are two ends and a middle, not complicated I know but for me there are not enough players in this team who want or are able to score goals. We have had bad luck with injuries especialy in defence. Let's look at the positives, we are still a first division club and I believe we will rise from the ashes next seaon and will have learnt from the actions and mistakes that have been made over the last few years by the managers and the board. UTG!
