As usual for the summer event, there will be new skins. This time, the skins will be for Nilou and Kirara.
However, you should know that this information is from the beta and may change in the future. If you want confirmed details, you should wait for the 4.8 special program.
Nilou's new outfit looks like a princess dress and is mostly white. The horn decorations will stay the same as before. You will have to purchase this costume, and it will be available in the in-game store when the main event starts.
You can get Kirara's new skin for free by completing the main event. If you don't have Kirara yet, there's good news! Kirara will also be given away for free as part of the main event in version 4.8.
From the pictures I've seen, both the Kirara and Nilou skins have masks that look a lot like the recent concept art of the Pyro Archon. So maybe the new outfits are connected to Natlan? But don't take this too seriously, it's just speculation.
The main event will feature Kirara, Nilou, Wanderer, and Navia. You might notice there's no new skin for Wanderer, even though early information suggested there would be. I think insiders thought we'd get three skins in version 4.8 since we got three skins in version 4.4. With the main characters being Kirara, Nilou, Wanderer, and Navia, they expected the third skin to be for Wanderer since Navia was recently released. But unfortunately, that didn't happen.
The new summer event and location will be connected to hexenzirkel, just like before. hxg_diluc says this area is based on a story from a book written by one of the witches.
The new location, divided into three large parts, is created in the style of Fontaine and partly Natlan. The first area is represented by a dense forest with mountains and rivers, the second - a large island in the sea and a whole city on it, and the third resembles a kind of port, remote from everything else. In addition, many origami-like decorations will be encountered in the area.
Insiders haven't shared their guesses about the upcoming banners yet. But based on their past predictions, the banners might include Emilie, Wriothesley, Navia, and either Nilou or Shenhe.
On top of that, Imaginarium Theater's second season starts on August 1. The theme of the challenge will change to elements of Hydro, Cryo and Anemo.
As a special reward for completing the new season, there will be special running effects for a number of playable characters like Diluc, Jean, Qiqi, Kirara and Ningguang.
