With a solo career spanning over 25 years, Paul Young has recorded and performed music across a number of genres, including rock and blue-eyed soul. Paul has also performed a number of 80's revival gigs recently, concentrating on raw vocals teamed with acoustic guitar, piano and accordion. His 1980's cover of the timeless hit 'Wherever I lay my hat' was his first number 1 single in 1983, he then went on to have fourteen top 40 singles and five top 10 albums in the UK.
2016 sees the release of a brand new solo album called 'Good Thing', which is available now on itunes, Google Play and Amazon, together with a very special (and limited) Vinyl print run. The album features Paul covering some old Memphis soul classics with L-O-V-E being the first single

I'm posting this today as a tribute to Ian Kewley, who may PY fans know played a major part in Paul's success. Playing in the early days with the Q-Tips to writing and composing many of Paul's hits - including this one. Sadly, Paul posted that Ian sadly passed away two days ago and thought it fitting to post this tribute to his memory. RIP 'The Rev'!
