Tolkiens legacy will live forever!

I think Christopher Lee has enough credit as an original Tolkien scholar to claim that Sauruman was still good at this point in the timeline. I miss his characters so much.

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again: I would LOVE to peek into a world where Sir Christopher Lee got to play Gandalf as he wanted, and Sir Ian McKellen played Saruman instead.

You know looking back at this video you can really see the pure joy he has at playing a good Saurmon. Towards the end of his life he finally got to play a good character in Middle Earth like he wanted to do. So happy for him to have achieved that, and to end his acting career on.
