Hi! I’m currently 13 and I’m training for my first half marathon. The age requirement is 24 and I was so excited because the race is on my 14th birthday. I still have about 7 months before race day but training so far is so fun!

Today is the day I get to participate in this half marathon ❤in Jesus Christ name, I am so excited for what God has next for me❤❤❤❤

Damm so you were part of a race that shut down the strip for hours that was great that I couldn’t leave my apt cause people wanted to run lmao

Most of the world struggles to get a job, enough calories and find safe shelter for themselves and kids. Running a marathon is for the 1%ers who are privileged enough not to ever worry about real world problems.

I wish they had a different line for half marathoners to finish. When I arrived they were so many half marathoners they block my view. I ran 2 marathons before and they had 2 lines before the finish line, one for half one for full. Everything was beautiful except that. 😒 even my finish picture was blocked by half marathoners 😭
