Did you use a liquid gasket for the valve cover, or is there gasket material? Need help ASAP currently dealing with this issue now.

I thought you had to secure the camshafts or lock the timing chain tensioner before removing the valve cover, because it’s technically not a “valve cover” it’s a cam cradle or something? And if you remove it you can fuck up your camshafts? Someone please correct me if I’m wrong

Is there a kit where you could just use a cleaner in the intake at certain intervals?

I just soldered a wire to the buss bar on the bulb holder, ran it out the vent hole, then connected with a spade connector. Also, pretty sure mk2’s are aluminum and won’t rust.

Best video for this, indeed. I have a 2015 Q7 TDI that just came off warranty on August 31, 2024. Sadly, the oil cooler is not covered. I started having a bit of a coolant leak, which the dealer said it was the water pump and wanted $2,000. I took the car back and swapped it for $120 (FCP Euro). I was a bit concerned because while creating the vacuum for the coolant flush, it would not hold, so I stuck a camera around the oil cooler and it seems it is just leaking a little bit and there is some oil too. Now I know the oil coolers misbehave on this engine so I ordered all the parts, but the bolts. QUICK QUESTION: Are the bolts reusable or do I have to get all new bolts?

Handy Audi entuziast here, I just said goodbye to my beloved A6 C6 3.2 FSI, after so many miles that served me so well (took it for a road trip to San Diego) and of course after lots of DYO hours with it... But recently just rejoined to the TDI club, I use to be a big fan of diesel prior moving to N. America 20 years ago... So, I traded my 3.2 FSI (best naturally aspirated engine ever) for a A8L D4 TDI, an extremely low mileage (30 000) it's a rare occurrence for north American, only 2 for sale in Canada, only 8 in USA... Anyway, glad that I found your channel, new subscriber here, I'll try to post videos as well. Greetings from Langley BC.

Sadly your country is a BIG JAIL, as most of the western europe countries. The list to unleash anyvl small diesel is stright and simple: 3piston pump (for CR), bigger nozzles, egr, dpf, pcv (oil catch can install), cat DELETE ALL GARBAGES, 76-86mm free flow exhaust, 3.5" downpipe, 4bar map, 8-10liter intercooler and deleted chargecooler (CR versions), turbo from gtb 2056 for low power daily use, to 2376 and 358x from cummins for much fun over 3000rpm's, for race some proper high duration camshafts from one piece not garbages cams on pipes which are stock on those CR engines. Of course for daily and race use builds some 12.9 bolts at heads and crankshaft and conrods are the best, not necessarly ARP's.

I have to do this on my cayenne. Did you change your oil and coolant afterwards? My concern is that there's a lil mixture while removing the oil cooler.

stage 2 tune 80 to 140 was downhill there fore giving you an inaccurate reading

I’ve got the same car in the uk. Blessed with a manual which i am well happy about. Absolute blast to drive. Mine is still stock at the moment. Just tore my undertray to shreds whilst doing what was most definitely the speed limit on an A road which I think is a highway or freeway to you. If you can get your hand on a manual one the difference is night and day for me
