Yeah can only imagine the thrill of doing it for real over the top of the mountain, 2 wheels in the dirt!! Mental!! A lot is in the setup with Assetto and you have to NOT touch the brakes from the exit of the Cutting all the way to Skyline

Hey mate thanks for that! I've got the link for these mods in the description. V8corsa do these older cars like the FGX and VF commodore plus some newer cars. Gen 3 v8 supercars currently has only one option from BCRC via their patreon (search my channel for Gen 3 videos) Then for proper retro stuff there is Assetto Car & Track Database via Patreon which has everything back to the 60s

@@Petethemeat19 Iracing only has: FG Falcon and VF Commodore S550 Mustang and ZB Commodore Assetto Corsa is far more expansive in V8 Supercar models: EB/VP EF/EL/VR/VS AU/AU II/VT/VX (Announced) BA/BF/VY/VZ (Announced) FG/VE FGX/VF/L33/E63/S60 S550 Mustang/ZB S650 Mustang/ZL1 Camaro There you go, hope that helps.

@@happilyaverageracer Ahha, I was just asking in case anyway, I've had to restart my steam with a new account altogether for reasons so I don't have Assetto Corsa right now, but I do have an old but good V8 Supercars game I got online which you can easily see on my profile, PS2 days! Had no facial hair back then and I used to have my mates over every Bathurst 1000, this year we plan to do that all over again despite our grey hairs!

I remember being very excited years ago when Glenn Setons Falcon made it into Gran Turismo lol

@@happilyaverageracer Oh absolutely, The AU Falcon is straight up adorable to me, I was absolutely ecstatic when I saw on advertisements there would be a V8 Supercar game that allowed you to compete in the championship, Toca Race Driver was the name worldwide, it's a solid game, bit of a bloody unbalanced mess with a cliché story mode though, but racing Falcons and Commodores across the country were so worth the money, I still play the game today, I'm suprised I haven't got hearing aids yet from all that V8 noise. Anyway cheers mate, I hope this event you're in grants you victory.

Are you talking about camera movement? Should be in the video options section to turn down g-force movement, look to apex and lateral movements

@@happilyaverageracer when hit the bump the world is moving(up and down) not the car and it gives a sense of speed but with blur disturbing vision.

Yeah I still think that's probably something to do with camera settings, maybe the 'lock to horizon's option is worth a play with ?

@@happilyaverageracer tried that, car is bouncing while the world is ok then if tuen it off the world is bouncing😅…it seems like most people are used to it, I see it in your video too. I guess this is how ac is.

@mlondipraiseworth3223 yeah to be honest it's not something I even notice. It's probably exaggerated in an F1 car as the ride would be quite bumpy considering how low and stiffly sprung they are

check the video description now mate, i've uploaded a folder with all the skins in it. Hopefully that works for you. It needs to go in the content/tracks/bathurst_fm7/skins folder (for the forza 7 bathurst version)

​@@happilyaverageracerI have one last question too because I'm a sim race amateur, do you have any setups or setup recommendations for those V8 Supercars? (I mean the AU and VT) I'm hoping to get a similar time to what you did there, I use a G29 customized to be like a V8 Supercar by the way.

@Dweller12-tu5on yeah you need to drop the ride heights right down. The original physics of the mod are very "bouncy" and I was part of a discord group that was working to settle down then physics to something more realistic but I lost interest and haven't touched these mods in ages

I agree it will get lost in the current market especially once AC Evo drops. I actually like how it drives tbh on my equipment, FFB does have some grain to it but not as bad as ACC. I'm running the gt3s with TC at 1 and not having too much trouble keeping them on the road

@@happilyaverageracer maybe its just me and my Logitech g920 but I genuinely think its just a lost cause. the company is new so its not like ac evo where its a known company and there isn't eve setups. and not even the devs have been like "clear roadmap and what we are trying to achieve" and 0 quid for an OPEN BETA skin and track when the skin is yucky to most people.

If, and a big if, ACE does it's multiplayer properly with LFM/ iRacing type rankings ingame and good struckture, Rennsport may possibibly be DoA. With also good old AC, iRacing, ACC around as well as LMU, among others it may take a lot to get people over. Add in sunk costs in previous titles. And i am not sure if the more serious sim comunity is ready for car tokens, bling skins etc.

People are really hung up on triples, I'm sure it will come lol

Rennsports problem is that it will price itself out of the market. The online community is such a huge factor for me, it's the reason I stick with ams2 even though it doesn't drive the best - but I love the group of guys we race with and that more than makes up for any shortcomings in the sim

A friend of mine has the same wheel, he went through firmware updates and got it working eventually
