Yes, it does, as a fossil hinter myself, i can say this is totally legit, amonite fossils are very common and can be found everywhere, they're the most common fossils actually, there's no need to fake such thing, if it was a dinosaur bone or something, then it would be suspicious

Try these 2 places -Lyme Regis -West Bay Cliff Edit:(Lyme Regis fossils are older than west bay so they sell for more older ones are grey and a bit younger ones are yellowish (Lyme Regis is one of the most active spots for fossils in the world and it’s where Mary Anning found fossils)
