Thank you! Gilda Radner was actually my favorite Favorite during the early years of SNL. I am so in a bind today. Two weeks ago I was thrown from a horse and I today am almost recovered from COVID. I am about to start teaching Natures Treasures Sculpture Class and I have to tell the admin that I cannot come into class until I am better. I watched Gilda and I wonder how she would handle this call.

Criticized for its "Violence" by idiot parents at the time. All they had to do was keep their Own children away from the TV. I was 12 when the series debuted. I loved it. But then by the later seasons, it sucked. Dwindled down in quality with the animation, and the action (Thanks to whiny parents). Besides, violence existed Way before TV ever existed. Hence, it does not contribute. (only to very few idiots who don't know better. Because a Real Parent educates their kids about the difference between fiction and reality). Thank you, Drive through.

Today they employ the Tom Brady Rule ... immediately blowing whistle when defender is 20 ft from QB! Imagine Brady getting hit by real men like Butkis, Nitschke, Deacon Jones, Karras .... you can almost hear Brady's whining!!

I have precious memories of my mom laughing so much at Gilda's characters. Her favorite had to be Gilda and Bill Murray when they were Lisa & Todd with Jane Curtin as Lisa's mother. She was always so mom-like when offering the kids her egg salad sandwiches... The best was when Todd would try to ingratiate himself by giving "Mrs. Lubner" those gratuitous compliments🤭 They were some of the funniest skits from that original cast. I see Gilda and I think of my mom and laughing hysterically with her while watching that show🥴

Love Gilda, her book "Its Always Something" was a one day read because I couldn't put it down. I did love Lucy and Laverne and Shirley as they did all their physical comedic skits BUT theres something about Gilda that made her #1 in my book.

I always found Molly Shannon very beautiful and wondered why they never played it up. Instead she always played abnormal and quirky characters.

Not enough of Gilda. Too many people yammering. And for why? Crap really. I also love Gilda. This 30 minute 'bit' was disappointing!

The compleat cast of Saturday Night Live show, when Gilda Radner was part of it, the show was great. Now it has turned into a very bad imitation of what it once was.

Now they seem to be playing a game of patty-cake, the only players who hit the ground are the ball carrier and the tackler softly hit the ground, woke politics and sissy rules have ruined the game. I don't even watch the super bowl, I was a die-hard fan being born in 1954, I believe the NFL no longer exists, and modern fans are missing out on the real game.
