@@fingerz6983 Much to my parents dismay I used to hang around with a kid called Sam birch. I was hanging out at Sam's house one time listening to hip hop,Tom came round and started schooling Sam, and doing freestyle rap, and mocking him for not knowing enough about hip hop, or any artists involved. It was brutal, but very impressive in terms of Tom's knowledge! I remember you on a B.M.X hoping off platform 1 London bound at Rainham station, riding along the train tracks and going towards the level crossing. It must of been 33 years ago or so.

It's by the allotments and nature reserve parking space the stables are opposite. Lower Rainham road.

@@ukgraffitiwalker8846 I haven't seen Bloods yet either, but my sister watches it because she still has Sky TV. Apparently, about 95% of it is filmed in and around Lewisham. I watched the trailer on CZcams and spotted the leisure centre and the road next to my old primary school.

The landlord sold the original because it kept getting vandalised, it went to an auction in Miami. The locals weren't happy because it was a big draw to the town.

He got it reprinted to scale on canvas, then it was framed and covered with perspex, which is what you can see now in it's place.

@@ukgraffitiwalker8846 I didn't know that. Thanks for the info. When I read the article about it being stolen, they must've been referring to the landlord selling it. I read another story about a council in London painting over a Banksy on the side of a building, which upset a lot of the residents because it'd become a well-known landmark. I've just remembered, the last time I visited Brighton, I saw Chris Eubank cycling along the seafront. I couldn't believe it. He smiled as he went past because he knew I'd recognised him. I saw him another time in the food hall at Harrods. I found out a couple of years ago that he went to the same school as my mum in Dulwich, South East London.

@@ukgraffitiwalker8846 Have you heard of ArtMongers? They've done a number of murals in my hometown of Lewisham. I discovered a new one of theirs last when coming back from Wembley Stadium. It's on the side of a house at the bottom of Brookbank Road.

@@ukgraffitiwalker8846 The first time I went to Dagenham was to visit a family friend with my parents. It took us around 45 minutes to get there from Lewisham via the Blackwall Tunnel. The second time happened to be during an England soccer match and we did the journey in under 25 minutes. If only England could play televised matches every day of the year, it would ease the congestion on the roads all over England AND London wouldn't have congestion charges and fake ULEZ schemes.

Graffiti has been a big thing for this lovable seaside town since the 1980's, And generally it's always been at a very good quality. I'd love to live there. Street art is catching up too, I'm open minded for all art. The mural depicting a fisherman releasing a seal is incredible.

yea deffo need more art galleries in Margate to perk up all the food banks and total poverty we have.

You wait, good things will happen to Margate. House prices will sky rocket too.

​@@ukgraffitiwalker8846 I saw him leave the restaurant and when I told my family, they thought I was having them on. I was there with my niece and my parents celebrating their wedding anniversary. My mum and niece had their backs to him and my dad was too busy enjoying his meal to see him walking towards our table on his way out of the restaurant. The funny thing is, the staff didn't know who he was and weren't familiar with the name David Attenborough. I found out he was in Blackheath Village visiting the Mary Evans Picture Library because they'd uncovered some rare photos of his brother Richard from their Studio Canal movie archive. I read about it on the BBC's website a few weeks later, so I assumed he must've been there for that reason. Around six months later, my dad found a photo he'd taken of my niece in the restaurant and in the background can be seen Sir David's famous blue blazer hanging up on the cloakroom door, which proved I hadn't made it up. I shared the photo online.

Just amazing. I haven't seen his UK programme yet, but will do soon. Thanks for sharing 👍🇬🇧

@@ukgraffitiwalker8846 I haven't seen it yet either, but I heard it covers his favourite UK wildlife spot (Cley Next the Sea on the North Norfolk coast). Coincidentally, the famous Cley Next the Sea-based wildlife artist the late Robert Gillmor is the father of the Mary Evans Picture Library's head of content (Tom Gillmor) in my hometown of Lewisham. Robert Gillmor was friends with Sir David Attenborough and worked with him, so I'm convinced he'd visited the picture library the day I saw him in the restaurant. I found a 2013 video of them on stage together at a wildlife art exhibition in central London.

That's a shame.....

If I was writing Lazy I'd try to work a sick two letter L.Y throwie. So E.T is based on the Alien that phones home?!! I'd love to film these guys bombing, I respect the work they put in. Just needs to be more transparent.

Haha, glad I'm not the only one confused by the E/3/L/Z/Ts whatever it is going on. Funnily enough this whole convo had me looking closer on my travels today and I've seen a couple of ET pieces along the A2 near to junction 2 for Aylesford/Strood. They are very striking (mostly black) and angular. Nothing like the rounded Es and 3s we're talking about here, so I wouldn't have associated the two straight away at least. I also saw PNK next to a E/3 (or Z, or L or whatever it is). But I've also seen, I think, an SK. I think I'm going to have to get out and take a closer look when I get the time lol. Mr. E / ET / Lazy / 3, whoever you are, if you're even the same person, you've certainly gotten noticed!

@@ukgraffitiwalker8846 The 90s was when I started noticing graff (I was like 8 or 9 when I started seeing writers over South London and Kent, traveling via network southeast as it was back then on the old slam doors. I just watched Killa Kela's interview with KNOWN who was a name that stood out to me way back then. Remember south London tracksides back then? Known, Dred, all the old DDS lot. There are a few names dropped in the podcast that I remember. I remember tags and bombs back then being all about clear handstyles and very unmistakable. I know it all takes influence from the next guy, but tags were about as clean as they got and there was no mistaking them. I remember Oker back in the mid/late 90s before the 2 letter bombs, with the trailing K's and R's on tags. I think my fav handstyle of the modern era is probably Ores in Kent. Very slick. But don't know if he's writing anymore, though a lot of his bombs and tags are still around. A lot have been disrespectfully crossed out and gone over by some scribblers who like to write naughty words on new build hoardings. Not impressed.... Lol

Mmmm well, I'm doing videos as and when I can be bothered, I'm only doing local spots right now, and I'm only doing raw vlog type videos in one take if possible. No silly transitions, no grating music, just Graff and my annoying voice 👍💯

@@ukgraffitiwalker8846 I have managed to upload a video every week for the last 6 months but it's been hard going trying to find new stuff, most spots don't seem to be getting hit like they used to.

​@@singletrack9087it's fizzled out, spots are hit and miss. In the big city's it's a little better, however lots of bad Graff is thrown into the mix.
