Kinesthetic Learners (Explained in 3 Minutes)
Kinesthetic learning is a style where individuals learn best through physical activities, such as hands-on tasks, movement, and touch. These learners prefer to engage with the material by doing rather than listening to a lecture or watching demonstrations. This approach helps them understand and retain information more effectively by actively participating in the learning process.

zhlédnutí 170Před 14 dny
The looking-glass self is a concept from sociologist Charles Cooley, explaining how individuals form their self-concept based on their perceptions of how others view them. The Premack Principle (Explained in 3 Minutes)
zhlédnutí 457Před 21 dnem
The Premack Principle, developed by psychologist David Premack, states that a more preferred activity can be used as a reinforcer for a less preferred activity. This means that if a person is motivated to perform a certain desirable action, they can use this action as a reward for completing a less desirable task. For example, a child might be allowed to play a video game (preferred activity) o...

CBT explains to socially anxious that it is sickness and abnormality to imagine what other people think about us - that we must stop doing this. Obviously - this command will lead to personality disorder since it is crucial for forming our identity. Then Codependency coaches will tell us that is is abnormality and sickness to have external locus of control - and that we must always look within and never form any opinion based on what other person might think about something. Looking-Glass self tells us that the reality is - that we need other people for our identity. And Lev Vygotsky discovered this phenomena independently in Russia. I believe that if we are in healthy, sane, normal ambient with healthy, sane, normal people - our locus of control will naturally grow into intrinsic locus of control - which critics say it is important. In toxic ambient - we will be coerced to suppress our emotions and to fawn to dark triad in power - this will not be option to opt out of. And it will be impossible to detach - when we are manipulated and lied to by pathological liars. - Children grow into the intellectual life around them. 🟦 Lev Vygotsky - "social contact was essential for intellectual development" - People who accomplish great deeds rarely come out of good little boys and girls. 🟦 Lev Vygotsky - Through others we become ourselves. 🟦 Lev Vygotsky

High school was, to sum it up, a complete disaster; I tried to be too many things and it all blew up in my face. If there were two stereotypes I would've had to live up to (and I'm aware they're mere stereotypes) it would've been nerd and loner. Of course, there would've been way more to me than that; I would've stayed true to myself: a music enthusiast/sports fan with a bunch of zany hairstyles throughout

I just found this channel and appreciate it so much! I am from Brazil and had to read Freire books while preparing to be a teacher. It’s been almost 30 years. But let me just say, his Marxist theories destroyed education system in Brazil. Kids finish 5th barely reading or writing anything, because laws were made based on his theories that kids shouldn’t be held back in the grade despite their poor performance. It’s tragic. Not to mention that Teachers are indoctrinators and criticise students that express different opinions. (Sounds familiar with what’s happening today in universities?). So the criticism you mention is REAL! I switched careers years ago, and so many of my friends did the same. Teachers are beat up, stalked, threatened, and even murder by the “poor and oppressed” if they don’t change raise grades or call their attention in class for use their phones. It’s unbelievable. This theory is pretty only in book.
