Simply sharing what I have in my vinyl collection. Feel free to comment. You may see some setup changes from time to time. Not all my records are perfect but what you'll get here is pure unedited sound you can do what you wish with. All my recordings are done directly through various phono stages. What you get here would be equivalent of plugging in with headphones. To get the true effect of these recordings that's what I would recommend.

A superb late 70s album
Definitely some great deep tracks on this one.
The horns and especially the strong strings make this song grab my heart, and I'm a rocker. A very mellow lead singer, Tony Burrows, but he couldn't sing this song this well live, but, hell, who can? The lyric "If you met her, you'd never forget her" really sticks in my memory for all these years: It's a true indication of romantic love, that slippery, evanescent entity.
I feel a lot of that in the late 1960s and '70s music. Especially the early portion of the '70s.

You are certainly most welcome. I'm pretty sure I have at least one of David Ruffin's albums from the '70s time period with Steve Gadd on the drums. I'm a drummer he's one of my favorites. That album is some real hot wax I'm telling you. I'll make a point of getting it up here.

Interesting rendition heard by me for the first time. Another example of those who influenced The Hollies! Would love to hear them do the song with more of the Long Cool Woman sound!!!
Check out "The Day Curly Billy Shot Down Crazy Sam McGhee." It has the same vibe as Long Cool Woman. The Hollies has so many great songs.
