I had a miniature cat island on my street when a feral cat had a litter of kittens and then those kittens had kittens… it blew up quick. A neighbor and I were deemed Cat Colony Managers by the city and we trapped and fixed more than a dozen mostly at our own expense but the vet did give a discount. I would sit on the ground and try to pet five cats with just two hands, heaven on earth.
