I don't see Tracers on the roof - I see a StripLite+ in the rear quarter glass, but no Tracers on the roof...although, that is good placement for slicktops!

Almost as good as secure park Dodge had. At least I could turn that on while in pursuit so I can jump out of the car as soon as possible. I have to sit in the car for 2 seconds to make sure protected idle turns on before I jump out.

What type of qualifications needed to work for the shop
Thank you for reaching out! Overall, our techs are expected to complete installations for diverse range of vehicle makes and models as well as upfit a wide variety of emergency vehicles. Diagnose, repair, and install electrical components on vehicle upfits and builds. They should also be able to read and interpret wiring diagrams and vehicle schematics, and have experience working with automotive electrical systems.
Whats the average cost of an up fit for like a marked 21 Tahoe ppv
depends on much, they can be under $10k if you shop. In locations where the agency doesnt shop it can eclipse $20,000. just found a fire chief charger in sacremento where (no computer or radios) was over $21,000

We are looking for any unbiased data that says DVI is any more effective than any other slow rate pattern. Making the LED look like a light bulb. If 60 flashes per minute is the minimum, is there a maximum. Wayyyy too much warning light for a 16 foot long vehicle. Would love you to publish costs of equipment

Hi Patrick - we did a program of cycling virtual of 6 seconds of amber and 3 seconds of red/blue
How did you get the whelen strip lite on the running boards to mount well since it isn’t a perfect surface mount
Whelen makes a 90-degree strip-lite bracket that allows us to position those lights on to the running board. We use them all the time in this scenario as well as inside windows on trucks and SUVs.

Agreed. I'm usually not a fan - they're a bit big as grille lights (like the Tracer modules), but they fit in well there.

Powertrain is a joke. 5 out of 8 of our 2021 PPVs have had rocker and lifter problems. The other ones are probably next.

Those lights on the rear tailgate are Whelen's Strip-Lite™ Plus lightheads. We use those a lot in our builds front and back. They are very versatile!
