@@aethann024 The capsule room door/walls blocks most of the air con, so honestly I found it very warm in there. I actually slept on top of the duvet and used a sleeping bag liner as a blanket.

Hi! It weighed about 10kg or slightly more. If you don't take a laptop and take out some of the extra stuff I brought, you could probably get it under 7kg. The laptop by itself was about 1kg. I highly recommend packing for a warm climate and then buying stuff you need if and when it gets cold-- they do have sweaters and stuff in SEA, even though it's super hot most of the time. I honestly never needed a thicker jacket/sweater except for a very short amount of time, like when I did the Ha Giang Loop tour in Vietnam, or for a sunrise tour in Mt. Bromo in Indonesia.

Hi! The capsule room is just for you, but it's in a larger room full of other capsule rooms. The bathrooms are shared between everyone in that capsule dorm.

Yes, that's it! We docked at Steinwerder as well.

It's about 5 minutes walking to the subway and there's a bus stop right nearby as well. It's also about 20 minutes walking from the Hakata train station. The grocery stores are about 15 minutes away walking. I ended up going to Sunny by the Gofukumachi station most often as it had better prices than the one nearest the apartment. There's a 7-11 slightly down the street, and some vending machines on the corner. :)

Hi! From Narita airport or Narita station? From the airport, the fastest way would be to take the Skyliner to Ueno, and then either walk (~15 min) or transfer to the Hibiya subway line and go one stop up to Iriya station. From Keisei Narita train station, take the Keisei-Ueno line to Ueno station and then either walk or transfer to the Hibiya subway line and go to Iriya station.

Hi! It depends on the port, I think. This one was free both ways, but on our stop in La Havre they charged something like $14 round-trip for a shuttle.
