Pacific Drive intro sequence

Pacific Drive is an exceptional game, and the intro to the game really tells you all you need to know about how good the atmosphere is. So don't watch this if you're going to play the game and want to go in fresh. Otherwise, enjoy.

Broken Edge brings fencing right into your living room. The goal is to whittle away as much of your opponent's blade/health bar as possible in order to be able to strike them down, while using your special abilities to stay on top of the game. The new Mixed Reality mode really brings this game to a new level for me, and it's amazing to be able to compete against online opponents in such a compe...

I didn't know that either, this was when I found out 🤣

I hope that was not iron man mode
If it was that was a sure sign to move on to the next game XD
I love Nungesser! 💙🤍❤️
Which game is this? Or who is the animator?
Oh dang I forgot to put it in the description. It's Flying Circus 1 which is part of IL-2. Best physics in the business I say!
Worst possible choice of music. I've heard more melodic cats. Nobody could like that for its musical qualities, so I assume it has some sentimental value. I couldn't stand it. I love watching old bi-planes, but had to mute that awful noise.
Ha, sure it's not very graceful and I used it more as a joke since the whole video was just us goofing around before a bombing mission. But if you're interested, Ed Haley recorded this on a wax cylinder late in his life for his friends, early last century. He's a very influential fiddler from West Virginia and we're lucky to have recordings like these when the technology was not widely available.
Very graceful flying. So when and where was it actually filmed?
Cheers! This was the start of a sortie on the Knights of the Sky server last weekend, fully armed up bombs and all, waiting for a squadmate to get his arse in gear. We used to have a little display flying team in Rise of Flight, so it was nice to dust off some of the routine again :D
Glad to see your are still flying! What name do you use in game?
It's still Jorri, but with an =IRFC= tag now! I only picked it up again recently. How about you, still flying biplanes? Seeing some cool WWII vids on your channel.
@@JorisKoolen I've been sticking to 190s on apollo lately, haven't found any active WWI stuff during my hours. I'll keep an eye out for you!
really cool! i hope we'll get more 2 seaters in future FC releases
Cheers! Thankfully we just got the FE.2b flying bathtub, and soon we'll be able to fly the RE.8, and they confirmed even more development of WWI planes.
@@JorisKoolen yay! I hope we get stuff that wasn't even in ROF, like rumplers and aviatiks and BE2s and such

How did you made it run I have multiple errors ? If someone can help me it would be very nice.
Please tell me he made him a pizza!
Ah yes, outnumbered 4 to 1 and at an altitude disadvantage the brave yankees dave the day. Seems "young indiana jones" is just as much a shitbag as the older one.
Fiendish????
He certainly wasn't their friend 🤔
FOr a short scene in a non flying movie, I am actually impressed by how much they got right. You can tell they had an expert advising them and you can tell the exact moments that the clueless movie director over rules his expert, ie climbing on the wing, shouting at another plane, in the interests of "excitement'.....But great spot JOris Koolen.
I also like how they made do with what actual airplanes and models and footage from other movies they had available. You can see Nieuport 17's turning into 11's and Belgian roundels becoming French and back. And it still holds up 😂
I just can’t understand one thing - how does the NATO bloc fight in our time on such aircraft? I am from 2023.
Not enough wind is hitting the airmen. They were flying perhaps a hundred mph.
Sound about right for those planes!
Pure bullshit.
I love red baron pizzas
What's the name of this movie
This is from an episode of the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles. They're worth watching, even though they can be quite hammy.
We're the German planed the albatross .?
Yes.
There's a beautiful Albatros in a museum in Antwerp that looks a lot like the one in this clip
Holy shit. Best pilot ever.
Performing acrobatics on a flying Sopwith Strutter at 100 mph speed. Ridiculous!
That barrel roll was something else. I wonder if that was actually a flying model, though!
Gernan pilot Herman Gorring?
No, Baron Manfred Von Richtofen, aka The Red Baron. Fat Hermann Goering took over the squadron after Von Richtofen was killed.
@@dhall058 Thanks Dave.
Are there community controls for the steam deck?
Indiana Jones, never happened! Jewish propaganda by Jewish piece of SHIT Spielberg!
A Frenchman speaking English, really impossible! Never happened!
Frenchman .?

Actually there was reported to be one in 1976 but on further investigation it turned out he was Belgian
Tiny toon movie ? LOL
English actor playing Red Baron. Sorry can't remember his name
Fun fact: you get paid $0/hour for being an internet historian. Let people have their entertainment.
I have finally got it working if anyone wants to know. Basically it involves buying the non steam version installing on a windows computer, and then copying the file to your steam deck and adding as a non steam game, you then use proton tricks to install a few files and hey presto it works!
I think I'm gunna stick to warthunder before my ass bricks my steam deck trying this shit 😅😅😅
Movie?
Televison
It's an episode of the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles

This is from The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles. A TV show. At least it tried to show some history. Production design just won’t be at movie level.
Yeah, I think it did a good job riding the fine line between action adventure and history, you don't see that a lot
Cheesy
So much stuff here that was impossible. For one, without some sort of radio and intercom system with serious headsets, it is impossible to speak to each other from open cockpits in the same airplane, let alone two different airplanes. You cannot hear anything above the sound of the wind and the engine. I've flown open-cockpit airplanes, talking doesn't happen. Second, noone would ever crawl out on a wing to check the gear. "Contact" meant the switch was off, not on. The most accurate thing they did get right was the appearance of The Red Baron. He was a very young, fair, very German-looking kid. He was not dark and mustachioed like so many think he was. Insofar as I know he never invited any of his downed adversaries to dinner, and I don't believe he spoke English very well, if at all.
It's a movie Bro its entertainment made to amuse people excitement sells . Plus no comment on the exit wounds (lol)
Of course it's just historically inspired entertainment...I feel it still does a better job of portraying the history than many more modern productions, and it feels a lot more grounded. As for climbing out on the wing, perhaps not to check the gear but it's not much stranger than things that actually did happen, like a pilot stepping on the wing to avoid the flames after their engine catches fire, while still reaching into the cockpit to control the airplane.
*snorts* *fixes glasses* "Sho much stuff here that wash impossible." 🤓🤓🤓🤓
Also, the Red Baron flies a biplane, whereas he had a triplane actually and that too in red.
@@amjadmuhammadiqbal4721 That part is actually accurate. He flew red biplanes for most of his career. He only flew the triplane for a short time after he returned to flying after his injury that grounded him. He was killed in it. Richthofen usually flew either an Albatross DIII or a Halberstadt DIII. I think he flew an Albatross DV for awhile but did not like it as much as the DIII.

The red Baron could not escape death ! He killed in war.. with the sword ...so , he in turn was killed for his part !!
Yeah, but he shot down a whole lotta bastards along the way. 😝
Having fought a war as a teenager in the early 1980s I can attest to the fact that no matter how "good" you are, if you stay in the conflict long enough, something will happen to you. It is just a numbers game.
The Red Baron may had been killed by ground fire.
Ridiculous.
You're rediculous!
Man I really wanted to play this on Deck
I have the standalone (non steam) version of this sim.. can I still get it to run somehow on my steam deck? Thanks
I'm afraid the Steam version is currently already not working, and the problem doesn't seem to be related to Steam, I'm afraid you won't have better luck :(
@@JorisKoolen OK thanks.. what if windows was installed to the steam deck.. you think it would work then?
Yes, most games will run off the windows Os if you install/ dual boot, or run off an sd card although not recommended. Id say dual booting is amazing, it can be quite a process though. One side note: be careful of your Chanel type and update if dual booting, recently had preview and update came and wiped out both os, but luckily I was able to recover from usb 👍🏻
I have no experience with this, so thanks for sharing yours!
