Way to go Dryden! Don’t know if you will see this, but I was a sixth grade teacher of yours and I saw your passion in hockey back then. Dryden keep following your dreams and continue making us all proud of the man you are becoming.

I feel as if McKay’s accomplishments won’t be fully appreciated by college hockey fans for many years. In NCAA history he is first in shutouts, second in goals-against average, second in wins, and around ninth all-time in save percentage. But his lasting legacy will be his longevity, as I doubt many college goalies in the future who put up his numbers over their first couple of years will stay all four seasons like McKay did. Yes, we are in a bit of a Dead Puck Era for college hockey, and MSU was able to face some weak programs in turmoil over his career, but he has undoubtedly put his name right up there with the likes of Tony Esposito, Ken Dryden, Robb Stauber and Ryan Miller among the best goalies in Division I history.

What an amazing accomplishment by such a humble and grounded young man, Congratulations!

This was pathetic to listen to, "I don't know that MNSU has the finical commitment to college hockey," look at how much they have spent on coaching staff, arena improvements and cost of attendance. Also, the only reason they were "spurned" by the NCHC was ASU did not have its act together when it applied to NCHC, the NCHC was n't going to go to an uneven number of teams just to add MNSU. If you look at the rankings and MNSU non-conference performance, they would be an upgrade over WMU and Bemidji would be a lateral move at worst over Miami. I guess you guys couldn't be bothered to do a tiny Iota of research into the whole situation. Guarantee you that Western and Miami would prefer to move back to play Michigan Schools and not spending money on travel. And how would they be in a precarious position even if the NCHC doesn't do the switch, they are in the same fucking position as they are right now they a no longer have to make 3 long and expensive plane trips, and they no longer have three of the worst teams in the country dragging down the league as a whole.

To everyone commenting saying this is boring. It is sometimes. Yes every hockey game can be! Girl are not aloud to body check cause girls have a way higher chance of getting a concussion then a man.
