Great information from a special player. Thanks Merc, enjoyed
With Staubach on the field the Dallas players believed they could recover the 18 point deficit.

Robbed this man... and this is just the one we know about
Da Bears đ»
22:55 Bart, you take the holding call and trust your defense!
Man, this Cowboys team was so close to being 14-0... and then they completely fell apart in the last two games. They never really were as great again. Just a long, slow slide to the bottom of the standings.
Now the franchise loses Super Bowls...
Howard sounds weird. Does he need to get drunk or sober up? I think that's HC sober.
A few years later they would play each other in consecutive Super Bowls
Jimmy the Greek told the sports world about the Black man how he is born to do what he do and he got blackballed for it he died sad over that decision.
Makes you wonder why they passed on Dan Marino in 1983. Hipple sucked.Might have made Billy Sims career last longer.
This film celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2024.
Class act!
Joe Namath is one of the biggest overrated turds in the history of pro football
Butkis never even played in a playoff game
I never tire of watching this and the music is spectacular
1984 team beats both 1983 and the 1987 team. The 87 team was the weakest of the SB teams but had that chemistry. The 1991 SB would beat the pants off of all those.
Thank you for uploading. I know you sometimes don't have control over it, but it would've been awesome if it still had the commercials. There's nothing better than sitting back and watching a complete game as broadcast from back in the day. For 3 1/2 hours it's just like 1978 again. But thanks again for the upload, you got most of the game, the intro, and the halftime. That's still pretty sweet.
The first post season game I ever watched. As a Saints fan, I didnât see many playoff games.
Denver played a great game no doubt. But the Steelers would Not be ' put away ' for good. Six Super Bowl championships in six years proved how wrong that idea was.
It's the most important game ever played.
John Brodieâs commentary is painfully bad.
Go bolts âĄïž
37:20: Surely one of the most blatant pass interferences of all time
Cowboys first game at the Riverfront Stadium
These MNF games bring back some GREAT memories â€
As a young high school student and football player growing up in New Jersey, The Fridays before our games on Saturdays our coach who had true respect for coach Landry had us wear dress pants, collared shirt and tie, dress shoes and a jacket to go if we had to match. This was during the school day. If you did not dress right, you did not play no matter if you were a starter or not. This was to instill a sense of confidence, teamwork, professionalism and setting us up for success in the future. As our coach was dressed just like coach Landry every Saturday all those years ago. The result was our football team was the winningest class in school history. Those were the days. Coach Landry is the gold standard. He is also a WW2 bomber pilot that took nerves of steel...again......the gold standard...
Detroit Lions legend!!
Western Pennsylvania guy
2:06:18 C'mon #Suge..but in all fairness not only was he drawn off by #flanker waving his arms prior but #FalconsNFL WR using ineligible 92 number. Not much †for DL but he made the record booksđ #Ramit #remix #RamsNFL
Bill King "THE VOICE OF THE RAIDERS FOREVER"
Lions -> Vikings -> Cowboys -> Dolphins (in LA) Rams -> 49ers -> LA Raiders (in TB) @ Bears -> Vikings -> Broncos (in SD) Falcons -> Lions -> Bills (in MN)
That voice! Watched the game on tv, big win :)
When football was just football when you could afford a ticket when it wasn't full off hype and shit like it is nowadays
30:34 sounds like military music
18:48 young Kyle Shanahan next to his dad
Jon Gruden looks like Cary Elwes
4:27 whatâs the name of the song? I heard it in 2001 San Francisco 49ers yearbook
There is nothing like these football times!
Mark Moseley won the NFL MVP that season. Very clutch that season.
All that crying about that TD that was taken from Houston, Steelers scored again anyways
It went from 1987-2005 ultimately. First highlight is New England over Miami; and the highlight cue is something I donât hear in highlights later.
Riggo should've started charging bus fare for how many times he took those defensive guys for a ride
For those who witnessed this back in the day, you'll remember the SB two weeks later when everyone wanted Jim Kelly to get hurt so Reich would come in and take the Bills to the promise land. Well he sure did come in the game, but they had nothing for Dallas!
Here's hoping that Sean Payton and Bo Nix bring us back to the promised land đ€
I'm 53, and NFL Films was my childhood. These videos and soundtracks are what made me the huge football fan I am today. I could watch these all day.... thank you for posting this.
Same for me. Glad you enjoy them! đđ

One of the best Superbowls ever. Played by all pros, hall of famers and real men. That could hit hard.
