He literally says "40-50% are going to his collection" -- If you collect, you don't just grab random things because they're "worth" something, you grab it because you care about it. Seems like he kept what he cared about and sold what he didn't. That's a normal collector mindset?

Resellers I guess can’t be collectors too. Kept all the Dreamcast games, changed out my beat up Marvel Vs Capcom game to this minty one. I now have a complete Chrono Trigger and Im adding about 20 of these ps1 games to my collection.

Good to know, but I don’t think I got any of that set.

It was a fair price. Nothing worked, everything was sold for parts. The games were scratched and nothing was worth more than a few dollars.

9 out of 10 times its just cheap old sports / shovelware games. Just keep trying, It took all year to find this. It doesn’t happen every weekend.

I quickly realized this a few minutes after when another reseller walked up and grabbed it and paid a dollar.

Was surprised they were still there on the last day. They are for a pocket watch that goes on your belt.

None of my local ones have had anything older then DS/Wii era games for a longer time. Now and then Ive seen a gameboy adv game or xbox 360 / PS2 but not in bulk like this.

@@emeraldwind4897 no gamestop by me has had Nes, Super Nintendo and , Sega genesis games in there for more then 10 plus years.

They had these retro games in the early 2000s but once 2008 or so came most GameStop's got rid of everything retro . The game stops in my areas none of them have retro games. It's just PS4, PS5 , Xbox one , Xbox series x and Nintendo switch.

I probably should have gotten everything but I was on vacation and room was an issue. I ended driving home 4 hours round trip in the middle of vacation to bring everything home.

Kinda seems they wanted to clear out old stock from a massive warehouse. The employees told me they were get boxes of old stock every few weeks.

@@mookstreasuretrove I was told that it was because it was no longer profitable serval GameStop in my city close down in the last 5 years only 3 in the entire city remained 3 in a huge city think about that.
