This channel is dedicated to sharing the word of God through creative and engaging Sunday School lessons. Lessons are geared for youth, but can also teach adults who are young at heart! The Parable of the Lost Sheep/ Luke 15:1-7/Lost and Found
When Jesus walked the Earth, he not only did miracles, but he spent a great deal of time teaching people all about God and his kingdom. One time Jesus was teaching a large crowd of people. All kinds of people came to hear Jesus speak, including tax collectors, and other sinners. They all wanted to hear what Jesus had to say. The Pharisees, the religious leaders of the day, were there too. When they saw the sinners gathering around Jesus, they were upset. They didn’t think Jesus should associate with people like this. The Pharisees didn’t understand why he would do such a thing. So Jesus told them a parable to help them understand. Through the parable of the lost sheep Jesus would reveal the heart of God, and the purpose for which he came!

There are many ways to help others during this pandemic. Here are some ideas. You can also look online at “ volunteer match” online , they offer many ways to volunteer virtually or in person.If you are under the age of 18 please check with your parents first. Ideas: 1. Create cards and pictures to send to people in your local nursing home. 2. Call relatives friends or neighbors who may be lonely and cheer them up. 3. Bake some cookies and leave them on the porch of someone having a tough time. 4. Record yourself singing a song and send the video to someone who is sick or lonely. 5. Draw or paint a picture and send it through the mail or virtually. 6. Give food to a person or family in need. 7. Donate old toys or clothing to a family in need. 8. Save your coins( or dollars)and give them to someone in need. 9share the word of God to encourage someone who is scared or sad.***** 10. Pray!!! Pray for others according to their needs*******
