We are more or less in the same page. Same riders in top 5 but different order
I would have gladly put Jorgenson in top 5, but he is seen as domestique in Visma and I don't know his endurance in a three week race!!

Portugal must be a nice country for cycling :) what's road traffic like and how do drivers treat cyclists? Nice bike BTW and video.
It is very good country for cycling i'd say. We have plenty of everything, climbs, sea, gravel etc. Traffic is mostly in Lisbon and Porto but other than that is great. Especially in the interior of the country. Drivers are also ok. I'd say they are similar to France, Spain, and better than Italy lol

Nice bike man! I too am looking for a touring bike. I will do a tour of Spain as a practice run and then a longer tour to Nepal. I am still deciding between the Kona Sutra of the Surly Bridge club. Too many good options these days for both bikes and luggage. Enjoy your bike!

The text says you started in Prato. But on the opening picture you are in Bormio. And the route doesn't look familair to me as well. (only watched the beginning, had to go) I rode it in 2008 so some things may have changed but I cannot think of any place for a balcony, down in the valley..... Nice music choice!
The picture is taken at the top, with the signal :) It is definitely the Prato side, with the 48 bends. Thanks for the kind words
OK. The Bormio sign is at the top I now see. Why so big? Strange!! I thought I saw the beginning of the video, with a balcony. But maybe I dropped the cursor somewhere else. It is probably in the last k's. Wasn't there in 2008. Or was I too narrow minded, concentrated on realising a good time..... 🙂 How long did you take?

No way! stick with a 2x better rations and less wear on your drivetrain. For the bike it is, touring is awesome and Kona has the 3x touring version which i have and I wouldn't change it's drivetrain at all.

It says on the beginning. It was on the 4th of June. It was cold because of the rain :)

@@diogolopes6778 Thanks for replying. Pretty fresh at the top, I suppose it was chilly riding downhill in the rain.
@@Phaidrus actually we went to this restaurant at the top and dried the whole clothes at a fireplace. You can see the photos at the end. We stayed inside for like 2hours just enjoying the day because we were booked in Bormio, and in the meantime it stopped raining. It was a great descent and I have part of it here on the channel.

8 out of 10 my mark!! TTT should be recovered!! And at least 10 more kms per time trial and 20 more in each mountain state except Plateau de Beille!! But I am an old man so according to the new standards this is 9/10
Third week is balanced. One would think about lack of kms in Mountain Stages but three decisive stages in a row with plenty of kms would kill probably one of them. They are short but provide opportunity to recover between stages to attack. I love the final TT because it can give emotions until the very end. I hope a finale a la LeMond!!!
Hopefully yes, but there are a lot of long climbs and hungry JV might kill the Tour on Plat d'Adet
Second week starts with an opportunity to riders with great maneuvering like Pogacar against Vingegaard. However WvA will be at the Dane service!! But an alliance with MvP is possible. I would live it rains a lot. Mountains would be perfect with an intermediate medium mountain stage. Plateau de Beille stage is the Queen Stage!! Perfect stage and good memories as it was in my first visit to the TdF
First week is perfect!! One opportunity for climbers and a flat TT before rest day give test for GC contenders.
The best climber all time is Spanish!! You know it!!😂😂

El ciclismo es cada vez más internacional y es muy difícil ganar en el Tour. Por eso me alegro tanto cuando se gana una etapa, aunque no sea en el Tour sino en una vuelta del Big7. Muito obrigado!!!
