    Is there a way to do the same but with a repeating group to create multiple tables for each employee since the content of the tables per employee is different? :)

    We have multiple Data Sets that are not connected to each other. As of now the output is coming like all rows from first G1, then all rows from G2 and so on till G5. However we want the output to be sorted based on Person Number all across the different data groups. So basically, run for all rows for Person Number 123 from group G1 till G5 and then Person 124 from data groups G1 till G5. We are able to do this in the simple sheet using SORT() function but same is not working while generating the report. Wanted to check if something is possible via XDO_METADATA sheet?

      Try this <xsl:for-each-group select=".//G_1[INVOICE_BALANCE &gt; 0 ]" group-by="./ACCOUNTING_CLASS_CODE"> Here I am using the invoice Balance &gt;0 I am not sure how to use a string variable please try and update

    Hi Tom..need your help in excel BIP...I have added date from XML on my excel when I check the type of that date it shows text in excel..my requirement is to print date in mm/dd/yyyy format with date type. How can I achieve this..Your immediate help is highly appreciated..Thank you!

      I am assuming that the report is a pdf . For excel you can freeze the top rows. use Add <?start:body?> <?end:body?> to keep the main body together in a page for pdf reports let me see if I can provide a link to the template

    The filter is from the concurrent program not a dynamic filter in excel like a pivot table. I see a blog about dynamic filter www.contextures.com/exceladvancedfilterslicers.html not sure if this helps

    How to implement filters in excel BIP template??? in your sample we could see fields saying filter by Job, department . can you please show how we can implement filtering :)
