I have the exact same problem with mine it's identical to yours, I was ready to buy a new one, it's a pretty good saw and works well, I've had this saw for more than 20 years, except one day I went to use it and I got nothing, my new Kitchen project starts in 2 days so your video was a great help and saved me $300.00 - $400.00 Thanks you are the best!

I will try once with the drilling into it and pulling it out. If it doesn't come out, forget it. This is the second time I had an issue with it but I didn't know it was the aluminum reacting to the battery. It was a great light

  • @kurilladesign

Okay, it sounds like the aluminum doesn't work with the battery and that's what causes it to leak and stick and corrode

Thank you for the video. I'm guaranteed to not make the several mistakes you made. Was I the only one screaming "BRIAN, stop taking the blower shroud off!!!" The pipes are underneath it not in it!!! " Somewhat painful to watch. Extensions with 7/32nd and 10mm is needed. And a little common sense. Don't take doghouse off. Don't dismantle blower assembly. Dont remove battery. Made this so much more complex than it ever needed to be.

So I have one of these same saws, switch is fine, but the bolt holding the blade guard on was frozen and some idiot I leant it to broke it. Any idea how to fix that? Maybe I need a screw extractor on both sides, but what is the part to replace it with?

Hi, I have a wet saw. do you happen to know what can be done if it's difficult to push the table to cut the tile? There is a cylindrical rod and a track on it. I am guessing that the cylindrical rod is not allowing the table/tray to slide freely. Should I add some lubricant to allow it to slide easier, or is there anything else that can be done.

I picked up one of these a couple of weeks ago with 2 sp120 folding panels for $524.50 on an Amazon flash sale new from Bluetti. So after deducting the sale price of the panels the eb240 was $244. I put 600w of $55 100w JJN 9bb panels in a 3s2p array and I’m getting 525w into the eb240. This runs my fridge off grid 24/7. Very happy with this setup.

With these constant power autotransformer ballasts, that capacitor is the main ballasting impedance for the lamp (the choke part of the ballast acts as a saturable reactor which forms a tank circuit with the cap that drives the lamp with a square wave drive current waveform). The reason that the lamp isn't striking with a failed capacitor is due to the capacitor capacitance being way too low, and thus there is insufficient drive current to establish a steady arc in the lamp. What can also happen is that the cap fails short, in which case the lamp will be grossly overdriven and thus probably grenade; the ballast is usually also fried when this happens as it can't limit current on its own.

You guys miss the point, The EB240 is purely about Off Grid Power and Emergancy Backup, the AC200 is Taylor Made to suit every Day Life, The EB240 has Industrial Build Quality with it's forged/Extruded Alloy Case and the AC200 Is all plastic, In an off Grid situation a person would be running Low Watt Appliances, Oh and the EB240 will run any house hold fridge freezer, You don't need a Touch Screen to get you through a PowerOut, That is just another thing to go wrong, The EB240 is all about power In and Power Out and if you need more sockets then just use and extension power board, The EB240 is a Work Horse, the AC200 is about style and craming as much as possible in to one box, Oh And The EB240 has Automotive Pouch Cells in It, Given the Choice I would Buy 2 of the EB240's Over the AC200, In fact my Brother bought 2 of the EB180's and 2 of the EB240's for a total of 8400wh, And yes they did make an EB120 and EB150 and the EB180 and the EB240. Hooking a Tesla up to a SoGen would last me about 6 months Now that is something I'd really like to do, Well done Guys great Video.

You need to hook up the car with a step up buck and boost D.C. 12v to 24V then it will draw double the Watts into the Bluetti. 200W instead of 100W. Just like I do with the EB70 on the YT channel @ebikecnx7239

Had to do this same thing with a different flash light(still AA battery tho). I used a drill bit first then a skinny lag bolt. I thought the drill bit/lag bolt might cause the battery to expand creating more problems, but it worked like a charm.

  • @brettgallagher2894

Had the same thing happen to the exact same flashlight. The problem is... they used some kind of epoxy in the construction process and it's all over the inside of the battery housing gluing the batteries in place.

I feel so bad watching you guys struggle with this. I just did this job today and It took about 2 hours. All i did was cut the pipe on the inside. I pulled through the the firewall and removed those clamps. Installing I used a worm drive clamp and a long extension with a swivel to tighten them. Theres no need to fight this job or remove the evaporator.
