    Question... can I dump all the liquid and start from scratch? How much solution and how much electrolyte should be replaced?

    • @liquidregen
      @liquidregen Před 4 měsíci

      Great Question! LiquidRegen is not designed to replace the original liquid found inside of your batteries to we do not recommend removing the liquid from your batteries. This may cause issues leading to unrepairable cells. Instead, we recommend follow the instructions that come with our LiquidRegen sets which explain the exact amount of Liquid to add (in ounces) based on the voltage of your batteries. If there is too much liquid in your batteries, we only recommend removing a small amount to allow our product to fit, and then using the same liquid you removed to top the battery off. If the fluid level is still not high enough in your batteries after, you can use distilled water to help submerge the cells.

    If I don’t have a trickle charger will the regular golf cart charger work? I will be putting this to a real world test - we’ll see how it works.

    • @liquidregen
      @liquidregen Před 7 měsíci

      Great Question! Although a trickle charge produces the best results, if you do not have access to one you can also use a regular charger. In this case however you will want to run two or more charge/discharge cycles in order to get similar results. If you have any more questions please do not hesitate to ask away.

    Whats the benefit of this over adding actual sulfuric acid?

    • @liquidregen
      @liquidregen Před 9 měsíci

      Great question! Much like adding sulfuric acid, LiquidRegen increases the specific gravity of the battery; however, it also removes sulfation leading to better performance and longevity when compared to just the acid.

      @@liquidregen great. So I have a couple of wet cell semi sealed AGM batteries that have dried out. 1 I think I boiled dry with too higher voltage and has no current capability. The other just deep discharged too many times. The latter still starts the vehicle as long as its kept charged, but has no useful capacity. Added demin to both and hold voltage but no improvement. Any hope for either?

    • @liquidregen
      @liquidregen Před 9 měsíci

      @@WaynesWorld999 Unfortunately LiquidRegen is only designed to work with deep cycle lead-acid batteries. In your case it is unlikely it will work with the AGM batteries, especially the one that has dried out.

    It said 12.65 volts on the 1st printout from auto zones tester. That's a good battery is it not? I've got 2 6volt gc batteries 4 yrs old used everyday in my service van as house Batts for 4 years. They'd charge up but drop off voltage alot faster than b 4!? Would this work? Thnx 4 ur video,

    If you add anything to your battery you need to boil it out by charging it out of the vehicle at a high amperage equal to you cars alt amperage not trickle charge buddy. when you add/ putting more liquid or acid into a battery (keep the fill/seal caps off) If you don't, your battery acid will spray everywhere and or bulge possibly causing fire. Learned that the hard way and fucked up my new High Output alt that no longer works because of CZcams assholes not showing what can happen fucking with a car battery... fuckers. If someone get sprayed in the face I bet they could hold the video makers liable

    • @scottwheaton9689
      @scottwheaton9689 Před rokem

      Nobody said the battery was bad voltage but point was the cca’s were down from 700cca when new to then mid 400’s cca showing the battery lost current/cca’s. Post treatment with the product & a slow overnight charge the battery cca improved from mid 400’s to upper 600’s cca which is the point here. Now that same battery should last/perf better in the golf cart

    Why are you measuring the CCA on a deep cycle battery? Deep cycle batteries are not rated in CCA, they are rated in Amp Hrs.

      I had the same issue. In order for the charger to initiate a charge it needs to see 30V (in my case I have a 48v cart 6batts 8v each). They all read 1-2 v. I used my standard car charger on 12v for about 3min on each battery, just to surface charge enough for the big charger to take. It worked. I did order more fluid for further maintenance.

    If overfilled with distilled water and caused huge amount of the electrolyte to be drained, should sulphuric acid be added or the charging process will auto equalise the acid concentration?

    • @liquidregen
      @liquidregen Před 4 lety

      During the desulfation process, the amount of sulfuric acid in solution will increase, or in other words that specific gravity will get larger. It may be a good idea to check the specific gravity(highly affected by H2SO4 in solution) of the electrolyte after using our product if you had to drain the electrolyte and possibly add Sulfuric Acid. However, this might not be necessary if you are seeing adequate results with your battery. Thank you for your question.
