Yes, you are correct. I was watching and welcome your invitation to visit on air and share some DIY owner projects. This is a hell of a boat. My only complaint would be that it needs more live well space. I wonder if there is a way to add at least one 40 gallon. Outside of that, it would be pretty close to my perfect compromise between fishing and comfort.

Great episode...I have always been weary refueling in the Bahamas. I have been pretty lucky thus far but its not to say there cannot be a potential issue. Luckily Bimini fuel goes pretty quickly and does not sit long in their tanks. Having said that... I have had bad fuel come from a local Florida Costco!

Why not "fully foiling"? I'm assuming there is a very good engineering reason no to so... What's the downside to a fully foiling boat?

It is called the trampoline.

I’ll take grief but “foiling” is a bit of a stretch here. Seems more of a “foil shaped, three point braced hull connector”. Yes, I see and acknowledge some of its benefits, but real foiling gets the hull(s) up out of the water and if 40% of the hull’s weight is on it, then it is creating a substantial amount of drag also. I would love to see speed and efficiency charts of the same boat with and without the foil brace.

Either they did a poor job filming or I must have blinked every time they showed it foiling. The rep. stated it goes 18+ inches "out of the water" but every shot had the hulls dragging along clearly in the water.
