To pack grease into bearings you’d need to push - same as gears. Not apply on the surface, but push grease to inner spaces.

The Dolly vise has an arc that roughly corresponds to the arc of the saw which prevents the vise from "swallowing" the ends of the saw. Also, a series of holes drilled through the vise at various heights along the length of the vise for steel pins allows the saw to sit solidly on metal (I use 1/2" bolt shanks) when swaging rakers and help keep narrow felling saws at a proper height. Very weird. It is certainly not my experience from today. Did you try to tune this drone some how? Did you reset all settings etc?

I don't think its really a fair example of GPS rescue operation when you clearly haven't followed the setup instructions with respect to setting hover throttle setting etc. I found that with just minimal setup, it actually works incredibly well and will typically land within 2m of the home position even in significant winds. When stage 1 failsafe kicks in, your drone should switch to angle mode and just begin to climb, so that by the time stage 2 activates GPS rescue, the drone is already stable and climbing. Your crash was user error, not a problem with GPS rescue. You can't expect something to work if you don't configure it.

Interesting video. Thanks. However..... using non Pinion oil in your gear box will void the warranty. That being said, after 5 years post warranty or if you bought a used bike, using a synthetic 75w oil and changing more often might well be just fine.

Nice alternative. Gear oil sure seems to be a lot thicker than the pinion oil just from a visual. I think I’ll try this anyway next time.
