Welcome to The ET Stand Podcast - a Cronulla Sharks fans podcast.
Hosted by a bunch of dribblers and "never was beens" who let their talking do the football, we want to connect with Sharks fans from all around the world, living through the highs and (mostly) lows of what it is like to be a Cronulla Sharks fan.
We hope you enjoy the show and get involved through live comments, polls and enjoy the banter, fun and hijinks of our Sharks themed show. We explore the various viewpoints on issues relating to the Sharks, ultimately hoping to provide our audience with the facts from which they can make their own decisions, all having fun while we do it. We don't claim to be experts but we can claim to being interested and passionate.
We love the Sharks and we feel it’s appropriate we name our podcast after the grand stand in which we sit every week and therefore by proxy our all time favourite player for the Sharks.

Yes this was basically the end of the eels that lost since they struggled for like 4 years after that
So excited for the next week I think 2004 is also good Even though I would of picked 2014 win but 2004 is good enough
That was a great game
Although we have a favourable draw, the fact that we had to go down to Melbourne, then up to Brisbane then play the 3 time premiers didn’t help. If we got to play Eels this week then Penrith the following week it might have been a different story.
Do eels vs sharks round 11 2010 next week And as for the pain of sharks loses do manly vs alarms round 25 2009
That Eels match is a good shout.... It's on the list
m.night shyamalan produced this episode...
lol....
Braydon was great before he got himself stood down. Great win boys defence is 1st class.
Storm were robbed
One hour and 27 minutes in.... and you still can't get the layouts right... nor the graphics either :) Nice show guys
UP UP 🦈🦈 good to see a sharks fan channel
First!!!
Thanks for the view. This match is defo worth a watch back. Also puts the current team level into perspective. We're good but not this good (well some of us think so)
doing a great job fella. lovin these pods! bringing back memories. had to drop off last but with a delayed watch.
Thanks glenthompson23 - we do fans dial in for the post match shows... you should get involved in one of those soon
Great job boys as always 👌 I took my in-laws to the 2018 win at AAMI park. I think they might have been questioning Lara’s choice of partner after that match!
After the maple leafs lost I needed us to win.
The decision making on the two points was correct... Down by 4 and with that momentum going for the try was correct I thought
The third try principle is right 75% of the time. This season Sharks have played 8 matches.... the third try scorer has been the Sharks everytime except Tigers match and this one. It's on 6 out of 8 this season which is 75%. One rainy day don't ruin a summer. Fun show fellas...
If you agree I can monetize your channel Are you interested in improving the channel?
My vote is for storm vs sharks round 2 2008
Second that.
Was at that Anzac day game, my missus called Bartrim hitting the post prior to his run up. I picked her up and spun her around, calling her the good witch of the south!
We might need her again soon.... glad she's still your missus... shame Lats can't say the same thing :)
The last 2 weeks have been STUNNING! Great stuff guys, keep it up.
Thanks mate - hopefully you're talking about the Sharkies and the show :)
Nicho man of the match.
We thought so too - top of the Dally Ms
Also on that manly game when Luke Douglas got sent off wasn’t it that match the reason we weren’t seeing to manly send offs the following year
I know they lost this one but they were so brave that game manly vs sharks round 25 2009 Also sharks vs broncos round 15 2009
Bradthechad CZcams sent me
You almost always take the 2 you fools!!!
30-12 you boofhead!!!
These are absolutely hilarious.... This season ended well
Iro is was a no brainer
Enjoyable, continue!
Bad news - first the Tigers put the cleaners through us, now we’ve only just managed to hold out the Bye for the two points.
It's a constant worry for us mate
Was perfect
Unfortunate boys with the Hunt injury then Finucane. Massive run by the tigers who were determined to get their coach a W. The next game will tell you a lot about your squad.
It works 100% of the time... 75% of the time
It was a painful watch at Leichhardt oval today, surrounded by Tigers fans. Hopefully we do the raiders at home next week
Elle McPherson was no.1 supporter, so technically not no.1 ticket holder? Or is it the same thing/criteria?
Great author and shire lad
Brendan Cowell
leave space for Niko to hold up our next trophy
David Hatch was tough but cam is very close any one who makes 80 off tackles like he did last year has to be in the conversation
Surely Marty Lang is up there for one of the toughest sharks? No one ran like he did! And what about Dan McPherson or Blake Johnston for number one ticket holder? Surely the club could get some excitement going with this and switch it up more regularly to get more out of it for the club and the fans… Nice work on the podcast guys!
Easy Win for 🦈 SHARKS ⚫️⚪️🔵
GO mighty 🦈 SHARKIES ⚫️⚪️🔵

Really good pod enjoyed it and no swearing made my day much better
Actually like updates of the meals it’s quite an Easter egg for the listener to wait and listen out for
Not sure our waist line will agree with getting around to every food joint but we will defo give it a try that's for sure...
Good shout burger point is really good
Hopefully you get into the KFC next time. Up up
Love Sifa and happy with him there as we have no-one else. But he gets found out laterally in defence whenever he comes up against good centres. But happy for him to stay, very good connection with Ronny in Attack. But as per my last comment, we how have a chance to put the conversation to bed for the year. Brit will get a few weeks, so move Iro to centre and Sifa to 11 and see how it goes. If Iro works it becomes an issue, I get that as Sifa would need to start off the bench and that’s not really an option.
Good start to the year! Dot points: • Definitely improved defence, dogs only scored when sharks were down to 12. • Teig is stepping up huge in D and attack. • Attack is still a step behind. Halves a bit out. But as they say, get the D right and the points will follow and that is definitely the case. • Resign big Tom • Brit facing 3-4 weeks. • With Brit gone, give Iro a start in the centres and move Sifa to 11. Gavin Miller tougher than Cam IMO but he is a tough prick!
OK let's download on these points here... 1. Yes defence has improved. 2. Teig I think we were seeing some of this last year. Very encouraging 3. Well behind. The attacking part is missing the speed and slickness of Moylan. Broken record 4. We seemt o be much stronger when big tom is on the field 5. By the sounds it sems it might be 2 6. Agreed Gavin Miller is tougher than Cam
