I have friends in Cordoba, Argentina, and they taught me the basics, like, where to exchange money for the best rate, where to buy water, the difference between remis and taxis etc. Now, it's easy for me to do stuff by myself, even though I don't speak Spanish. But I did not understand what kind of problem you had when opening a door there or why people would like to "visit" you. For travel tips? That's not a visit. This is consulting. In my opinion, you are entitled to charge for that. Best of luck living in Argentina!! Cordoba has some great places to visit around it.

Man I love that you mentioned the lonely feeling when traveling solo as a male. I have felt this a lot in my adventures. Good to know I’m not the only one. I just try to tell myself that I shouldn’t be sad, but happy that I’m able to even be in that country since most people I know don’t even travel.
