This Amiga 500 Plus was very kindly donated to me last year by Neal of @NLKMediaGroup. He sent me this one along with another A500 rev 6 but this rev 8a (like most of them) has suffered the dreaded battery rot so lets look at it first. We have 2 disk drives to look at this week. One of them just needs aligned which is the main focus of the video, the other I bought spares or repairs with no idea what's wrong with it... A few weeks ago while working on a shorted A1200 I tried to boot it with my TF1260 in the trap door and since the board didn't have a chamfered edge I managed to wreck the edge connector on the TF1260.
