I rented a M3 Touring for 3 days and on that I couldn’t feel how fast I was going, just as you’ve commented with this M2. For me this is a slight negative, I’d rather have some form of feel/feedback. Will find out more when I rent it in a few days. Great video, thanks for it, helps me with my self debate on manual vs auto

I went back and forth test driving many GT4s and GTS 4.0s. I was going to get a used 2023 GT4 until I was able to get an allocation for a brand new 2025 GTS 4.0. Decided to go with the brand new GTS 4.0 given I could spec it the way I wanted and I would be the only driver. Both cars are amazing.

Great review. You really can’t go wrong with either choice. I own the Boxster 25 and love it as weekend cruiser. From the subtle differences you nailed in the comparison, the mannetino that can transform the GTS with a turn of the dial vs always “on” in the GT4 stands out for me. They’re both insanely good!

They overpriced depreciating liabilities, I bought a 981 base Cayman for the weekends only as I couldn’t justify spending mortgage money on a P car, I invested the remaining into the market. I live in London’s 20 mph but even on the motorway the Cayman pulls all the way to 165 mph on the autobahn, the PDG chaps in GT cars asked if the 981 was standard car. GT products are excellent but I personally can’t justify such spending at the expense of compound interest, it’s always a delight to be gapped by a well driven GT car as long as you don’t mind catching up minutes later. 😂

If 1,400 of us came together with a hundred quid each we could buy one 😭

Hope you read this and message back... just looking at getting my first proper sports car and the GT4 is currently top of my list. I've found one but till deposit is paid they are reluctant to let me have a proper drive test drive in it rather then a couple of miles up and down the road. My biggest concern is in York we have speed bumps everywhere the front splitter is replaceable I know but I don't want to be replacing it everyday if it smashes on every speed bump I go over. So how have you found speed bumps and what do you do to mitigate smashing the splitter on them? Bearing in mind my last real sports car was a Mitsubishi Evo 9 FQ400 which to be fair was ok over them I've never really driven anything properly low.

let's take price out of the equation. No matter what you feel it's not the same (braking, suspension) ... it's a apple and a orange comparrison. No GTS can claim it's almost a GT4. Throw in the Carbon Buckets and take the GT experience to another level.
