Our new pod lasted a year before the floor collapsed because of badly installed pipes and poor workmanship and cheap materials... Total crap.

Tore down a lovely old building and replaced it with a fugly washing machine of an office block.

Finally good to see some new uploads again.

They should have left it alone and just turned it into a cigarette factory! 🤣

They knocked down the old building, because there was no money to be made unless it was nocked down and rebuilt. No money to be made, except by knoking the old building down. Favours owed are to be returned, while at the same time help is given to business friends (I said business friends, not political favours owed. ¡ha...ha...ha... (No I'm not laughing, its the way my hicops sound), and also help old mates to make some money on the side (no.. not corrupt, on the side) and if in the process there is some left, you make money for yourself. They destroy to rebuild thats where there money is. Look at wars, still don't know why wars still happen, weeeell, just follow the money trail...who makes money out of wars? I went to the old school in that area many, many years ago. If am not mistaken, it was also known as Chelsea School (please correct me if I am wrong). Sad they destroy those thing which are part of our past ¿Can we exist without a past? ¡No! Our old buildings and the surrounding are part of our identity as persons, they are "some" of the bricks that built our personality, our identity. ¿Take away those bricks and what's there left? ¡Nothing! And that's "Big Brothers" real objective. Never to allow citizens to have any strong identity ties with anything. I mis good old London and old londoners. All my love and dearest wishes to all old londoners and other real londoners.

They must have began demolishing the tall blue gas-holder at the beginning of March 2015 and finished demolition in May 2015. I could tell by there being no leaves on the trees in the background and when they nearly finished the trees in the background had leaves on them.

fake. to build an entire high school in just 4 minutes is not possible.

Times change, and that is a constant. But like many in that area, another piece of our past has now gone for ever. I used to go to Battersea park with my Nan as a kid. Turn right at the gasometer and I knew we were just over half way there. The fun fair, the Easter Parade. The little train at the main gates to take you into the fair. The tree walk with Snow whites dwarfs. Playing in the fountains. The secret Castle on the lake surrounded by nettles and wire. The boats, the cafe. My Nan.....all locked in my memories, they cannot be demolished and built on. I may live far away now, but my heart will always be in Battersea.

Can't be spoiling the view of the river for the new Millionaire home owners can they?

So sad they knocked down my old school. It had character and charm plus a long history. Glad I made a visit to see it before it was demolished.

I used to go to malborough but I wasn’t able to go to the new building cause my grandfather got ill right before it was all built, so I had to go back to korea. I have good memories there. 🥲

Why did they even knock down the old building. It looked 100 times better than what was newly constructed

We need more investment in cycle lanes rather than moving one bottle neck to another location

The company that made and installed these pods have nothing to be proud about, the old pods were put in in the 70,s and lasted for decades ,our new bathroom pod has had 2 toilet leaks resulting in rotten floor, bad soil pipe runs leading to blockages , electric fans Replaced twice , bath becoming unseated all for around £40 000 Cost to the local authority.truly disgusting how they get away with it.

Still amazing after two years, and i cannot believe i am still the only one who clicked like on this video, this deserves more like.
