Does anyone know of a way to do this without the pin number? Or a universal pin possibly? My radio display is broken but everything else still works.. currently trying to sync my new phone but I can't see the pin on my display when it prompts me to enter it 😢😢😢

I have an Escape 2010 XLT and it does not have the "SYNC" mode or the buttons on the steering wheel, but if the phone icon appears on the radio, which when pressed says "No Phone", is it possible in this case?

My 2011 Ford Escape doesn’t have “SYNC Reboot”, only “Master Reset”, and I already Master Reset and Clicked Default Settings but The Bluetooth is still stuck in Off Mode 😒

@@randiecute4800 my fm stopped working after I took it to get the airbags fixed and they just accidentally unplugged it. Check CZcams to find out how to get to your electronics plug in under the steering wheel, you should see it unplugged. Might have jiggled loose driving or happened during repair

I’m gonna go ahead and assume this doesn’t work with new iOS because every time I’m on Bluetooth even with connections allowed it doesn’t pop up

Uhh like it won’t read it out to you while ur drivin like it will for a android. So y’all watch out for that. Unless you give it permission but mine says it just can’t do it (the text to speech for the iPhone) it’ll connect but won’t do that. I appreciate the video man I’m 17 and I still got confused

Your right but I figured it out,only took me 6yrs..lol If you know how to connect your phone to the cars Bluetooth using Sync.All you have to do is make sure it's connected.Then I press the phone icon then I hit the media button on the steering wheel its above the phone icon and it'll ask for a command.Say BLUETOOTH AUDIO...and there u go listen to music.Literally just found this out weeks ago.😉

@@arkcidious2244 make sure your bluetooth is turned on on your phone and that it’s “discoverable”, it’ll show up as SYNC in bluetooth (for iphone at least). Also it doesnt allow phones to connect to the car while driving so make sure you’re stopped/parked

It sucks. Ford shouldn't have done that. My Ford Mustang 5.0 has an aux outlet. They should have put the aux outlet in the escape.
