Nice! But it should be extended also for Gacha games like Genshin Impact which has predatory in-app purchasing system of genesis crystals which is inefficient (6480 genesis for 100 USD is still insufficient for the guarantee 5 stars weapon or character beucause 6480 is still 40 wishes and the guarantee is at 90th wish if I still not get a 5* character. Also there are 50% of chances to lose the 50/50 for a featured character and event limited [through that there are reruns]). Some players (even minors) had used a credit card of other (parents often) without permission as reported in a press article containing the sentence [A Singaporean father was shocked by his $20,000 credit card debt after he traced it back to his daughter's spending spree on “Genshin Impact.”] (nextshark article - 2022.01.03)

Not specific to any country but comments for any country considering legalising it now ( please, by all means explore any and all other options to create value and earn revenue. This means of earning revenue is truly not worth it. ) 1) selling drugs which are addictive. Is the seller sinless ? Charge a levy to new buyers and drug addicts to buy drugs ? 2) going to great lengths to lockdown during covid to save lives, lives lost and families destroyed due to the “casino” is fine “ ? 3) the shithead which talks about jobs creation.. ur earnings are non value added mate.. it is the loss of another.. when one of your loved ones gets sucked in and hurt real bad, god forbid, ur eyes will open.. get a real job that adds meaning and value to society.. 4) seriously think entry levy is a safeguard? Think again please, if one has any semblance of conscience. Merely makes ppl gamble long hours to maximise the levy and increase odds of addiction. 5) seriously, anyone who can condone making money in this manner … i beg you to reassess your moral compass ? One day ppl will realise (hopefully sooner rather than later) … this is no different than an “ opium den “ from yesteryears.. 6) seriously, any controls over casino’s marketing gimmicks studied in detail to truly understand its ramifications ? 7) casino’s make money from problem gamblers and by converting non problem into problem gamblers. Does anyone seriously think or believe they can survive on casual gamblers ? Leave casual gambling to the confines of people’s private lives during cry etc.. no need for a casino. 8) ridiculous and nonsensical arguments on tourism ? Many cities with high tourist arrivals DO NOT necessarily rely on casinos… there are other means to attract tourists… many. 9) if the “casino” is taken away, would ppl still invest in an integrated resort. If the answer is “no”, pls kindly refer to point 7) above.

The NCPG is practically just the PR for the casino, you know. 😂 About Point #4: That is correct. That levy is hardly a safeguard. It deters only the potential firsttimers (the virgins) & nothing more, and it provides no resistance to the problem gamblers. Moreover whereas the low-income ones usually get deterred and therefore avoid ruin by casino because they can't even afford S$150, the middle-income ones & above being able to afford the S$150 levy are not deterred at all and are now vulnerable to ruin by casino, since casual gamblers do end up as problem gamblers. What is S$150 anyway, when the problem gamblers are going to bet like S$5000 per hand. 😂 About Point #7: That is correct. And the patrons at the casinos (both MBS & RWS) continue to perpetuate the Big Hoax amongst themselves, (i.e.: the belief that they just need to find a holy grail to beat the games especially Baccarat) and the pitbosses (the "sups" (supervisors) as they are called at MBS) secretly like this Big Hoax, because that is how the revenues keep pouring in. Casino games are 100% mathematically unbeatable (due to disadvantageous payouts & uncontrollable odds), yet the patrons continue to feed on this Big Hoax and to make up the most-illogical analyses. At both MBS & RWS, Baccarat players keep parroting "7 never wins" or "bet big on the second row", and of course they all invariably scream "Picture! Picture!". 😂 Those casual gamblers morph into problem gamblers usually by succumbing to this dangerous Big Hoax. At first they get frustrated from losing (bad choice #1 - If you as a casual gambler ever feel frustrated, then you have failed to understand the risk and you MUST stop and you should have never started), and then they decide to find ways to win back the money (bad choice #2), and then they get bad influence from those superstitious Big-Hoax-perpetuating patrons (bad choice #3), and they fail to realize that they can't beat a mathematically unbeatable game oftentimes until it is way too late. Guess what? Even NCPG ambassadors at MBS & RWS have no clue about this Big Hoax that transforms casual gamblers into problem gamblers.
