Amazing project man! Just one thing I observed. The E model has square wingtips that changed on the F models onwards to rounded wingtips. Did you use the rounded wingtips on purpose ?

Sadly there are none. I did all the work without any plans. The body is from Brasil. All other details you have to build on your own...

I want to build a P51 Mustang Replica for display, I have some sponsors here who help me with free materials and services. I want to use the drawings of mr. Marcel Jurca to do the parts and assembly, but the drawings are in PDF, and I want an assumed, responsible, serious volunteer (free of charge!!!) CAD engineer to help me redraw the drawings from the PDF and put them into DXF files, so it can be easily cut on CNC from plywood, aluminium, steel etc... I have some progress on the frames and formers (pictures attached). The Mustang will be displayed for a new aviation museum project I am currently developing. The CAD engineer will be mentioned on the sponsor's list on the project website.

Google the Marcel Jurca page in France. They sell the warbird plans for FW 190 and Spit, Mustang, and some others in 80 and 100 % scale. Sadly, they do not sell the 109 plans anymore. Where is your homebase?

WO KANN MAN SO NE KÜBEL - REPLIKA ERWERBEN?
Ich baue die selbst. Ich habe 4 Karossen in Brasilien gekauft und selbst importiert. Das sind die Einzigen in Europa und ausserhalb Südamerikas soweit ich weiß. Es gab allerdings leider ne Menge Ärger. Ich baue jetzt die naechsten 3 Kübelwagen fertig. Einer ist für mich. Ich mußte Hilfsrahmen und Versteifungen aus Edelstahlprofilen und Blechen selbst konstruieren um die Krafteinleitungen der GfK Karosse in die Verbindungen zu Achsen und Auflagen am Chassis solide zu gestalten. In Brasilien ist das egal - hier muß man den TÜV auf seiner Seite haben. Zwei Kübel verkaufe ich sobald sie fertig sind. Aber das wird noch ziemlich dauern da ich beruflich sehr eingespannt bin. Ich mache das nebenbei. Und die Me 109 muß ja auch fertig werden....

Sadly No. We still stuck in engine problems. Engine was running in the fuselage but it turned out that the both wrist pins at 3 pistons were forgotten to install at the factory......engine had big demage and we still search for spearpartnumbers of some parts.....
@@haraldwiegand4511 Thanks for the information. Did the factory pay for any of the damages? After all it was their negligence that caused the damage... Wish you lots of luck in finding the right spare parts.
@@Franky46Boy The damage was not known about, until we mounted the engine into the taildragger. The angle made the wristpins mouving backwards and made deep scretches into three slaves during short testruns. The engine was running before in a teststand and in an other experimantal. The angle was 0° to the floor. The wristpins didn't move. The V8 was build up by engineair with parts from DART. That was 1999. Tooooo long ago to ask for any paying...... Runningtime is less than 13 hours until today. The V8 is in a repairshop now. New sleeves are fixed. We still need forward Crankshaft Seal, backward Crankshaft seal, Piston Wristpin Clips and complete Set of all Valve Stem Seals. DART was helpfull finding the sleeves, but we wait for the other partnumbers .....I don't know why?

@@darth-2266 It is a replica following the plans of Marcel Jurca. The Marcel Jurca friends of France offer plans for many other warbirds in 1:1 scale . Spitfire, Mustang FW 190. Sadly not the Jurca 109 like we did. Hard to get plans........

A lot of commendable work BUT not sure why its a mix of Me109E and F, has F fin, F wingtips, E cowling though there is much wrong with that, from gun troughs through to the slits and bulged area there, it follows White 14 flyer which is wrong in that area, 5 exhaust ports, carbuncles and more, its a mongrel in effect.

Ho comprato i corpi in Brasile. Tuttavia, si adattavano molto male e ho dovuto tagliarli a parte. Per fare questo, devi essere in grado di lavorare con GfK. Ho installato molte parti in acciaio. What do you like to build? That prop shown here in the video is a little bit downscaled. 2.6m instead of 2.9 m at fullscale. Hub is from a SR22 Cirrus Aircraft, the spinner is nearly fullscale and I have a mold. Here how the prop look at our 1:1 Replica: czcams.com/video/KO8SELrE-yg/video.html
@@messerschmitt1936 I want to 3D print a large static model of bf 109, but at the same time I would like the detail to be as high as possible. And it doesn't matter if the spinner is removed or put on. Where and to whom I just did not write, I even asked those who have the original one to take at least a few sizes for me, and then try to recreate the original look with the help of reverse engineering. But no one answered me. Somewhere I heard the opinion that the drawings of the VDM hub are under a patent and they are not in the public domain. Then it became even more interesting to me where very high-quality parts come from on plastic models 1:32, for example, the brand "Eduard"

Absolutely a fantastic job you performed with your ME-109. Such a wonderful feeling for details. I’m a pilot since 1974. Having an experimental Glasair FT II. Based in Västerås, Sweden, I looked for your airfield, EDFC, Aschaffenburg. It would take me about 4.2 Hrs to go down there to maybe be able to see your wonderful ME-109 in real life. Such a beauty. what is the powerplant, please?
Engine is a v8 chevy in a racecore, it's turbocharged and downgeared. 450 hp. Double ECUs. Factory produced around 30 peaces of that kind. Name of the factory was engineair. Back in the 2000's.....

Is this a scaled down replica or full scale? The wingspan looks smaller.
The one with the yellow nose is fullscale. Wingspan is close to 10 meters. Hangar has doors with 12 meters span. The grey one under the roof is the 80% downscaled BF 109 V7 with 8 meters wingspan.

The plane has flown 16 hours with the previous owner and we are working with LBA and OUV to get it flying again.
